He watched his houses folk make food. His eyes bubbled with cuteness hoping one of them would give him some. They stared at him.

"Awwww..." the house folk's pup squealed.

The female adult nudged the pup away with her paw. "Go....... table..... food..."

He cocked his head with confusion. Even though he always knew he couldn't understand them, he still wanted to see what they meant.

The male house folk grabbed the plate of food and set it on what they called, a table. He called it the wooden thing he wasn't aloud to jump on. He tried to make eye contact with them as they gathered and began to feast.

He waited for one of them to see his bulging eyes. Then the pup dropped a big piece. He raced towards it. Gobbling it down, he looked up to see mad faces towards him.

"Jackie! You bad dog!" the female hollered. "Why do we still have him?" he recognized the words easily, he heard them everyday.

Jackie walked passed the angry stares and laid on his bed. When he pricked his ears he heard the pup laughing and the older speaking to one another.
