Chapter 20

Jackie

He was shocked by her refusal of his love. Telling him no? Why not? I love her.

"Um... Well, let's go inside." She awkwardly beckoned him.

Why is she so frustrating?

Why can't she except the truth?

Why can't we be happily in love?

Does she not love me back?

Oh... What does she call it? Oh! Oh StarClan, will she ever love me?

His mind was floating. He couldn't quite have his attention on anything but her. The way her gray fur is... The way she walks... He loved it. Everything.

But there's always a chance that she doesn't back.

Maybe still counting on that stupid Bearpaw to come back. If he's dead, he's dead. He thought sourly.

"Jackie!"

He snapped to meet her eyes. So big and brown-

"For StarClan's sake, pay attention." Mysetery snarled.

"Calm yourself." He licked her cheek. "I love you."

"Fine." She growled. "I love you too."

Wait, what? He thought, even more stunned than before.

"Do you now?" He smirked.

She smiled happily. "I do."

They both trotted out to the pups. Happy. She had a happy smile. As did he. His smile was wide and he looked at her with so much love and care.

"I love you." He said cheerfully.

"As I do to you." She said, padding over to the pups.

He smiled and nugded Shasta. "Wakey, wakey."

She blinked from her sleepiness. "Hi, Jackie." She mumbled, clearly tired.

"Mystery is over there. Go to her, she'll show you the way in." He instructed.

"Gotcha!" She said, running.

Next, he woke Moon. She slapped him away. "C'mon, Moon. Mystery would like you in the house." He paused, looking briefly at Rainbow and Kyann, both sleeping peacefully. "She's over there. I need you to go over there. I want her to be happy."

"Do you love her?" She yawned.

He smiled at the recent memories, oh so recent. Oh so nice. (A/N;-) Get it???)

"Yes I do." He looked down at her. "Now let's go."

The other two woke easily. Thanks to... StarClan? Correct? He's still confused about what it's called. But apparently he's a "twoleg dog who knows nothing". He shrugged the thought off.

Omigosh!!!! This is sooooo short!!!!!!! I couldn't think of ANYTHING!!!! I made this though! Hope you guys like it! I will try and update soon! I'm soooo sorry it took so long for me to do this one. I promise for the next one not to take this long!

I was making other books. Not fantasy, more romance, werewolf, Rated R stuff. If you're not into that, SORRY! It's my new writing faze. I will keep up to date on this one though.
