Warriors (Dog Version) Part 2: Need to Get Away

Chapter 8

So since I haven't been writing as much I write this part today. As usual Enjoy~

Bearpaw

He told Graystar what was going on. First when I told her that WindClan and RiverClan were teamed up she didn't seem too worried, but now the whole Clan had to go up against three other Clans.

Oh StarClan! Please let everyone be alright! he prayed.

All of a sudden his sisters pop in his head. Are they alright? he asked himself quickly before running in front of the medicine den.

"Get Poppypaw and Cloudpaw somewhere else!" she hissed at him.

"Are they well?" he ignores her and asks a question.

Redfang looked at him. "Whatever you decide to do, protect Mysteryheart!"

He gave her a worried look. "Why's that? Can't she protect herself?"

"She has a a destiny that's soon to be fulfilled!" she snarled but realizing that he would ask more questions. "Mysteryheart will be made leader soon, like her message from StarClan when she was made an apprentice... I had a message too. And she will become leader soon. Too soon."

"Okay..." Bearpaw said as he found out the truth. "Want me to put them somewhere safe?"

She looked at him. "Yeah. Please put them in the leader's den."

He raised an eye brow to her. "You mean Graystar's den."

"For now," she muttered darkly.

He frowned and went to the medicine dog den. "Poppypaw, Cloudpaw come on. Let's get to Graystar's den!" he orders them.

His stubborn sister, Cloudpaw had something to say yet again. "Why? Does she want to get sick?"

Poppypaw looked like she agreed but told their sister, "Come on. I'm sure there's some reason..."

The stubborn one got up, and the quite one lifted their bodies. "Cloudpaw!" he yelled as he saw the sickness was effecting her fur.

The wound was huge on her. It hurt him to see his sister in such pain. Poppypaw looked horrified when she saw the wound. "How'd this happen to you?" Poppypaw asked.

"It's been eating me away..." she said as it pained her to speak. "I'm praticly in StarClan already..." she paused to cough.

Bearpaw stared at her with wide eyes. "No-no-no. You're gonna be fine let's get you to Graystar's den."

Her face lifted up. "I- I... It pains me to say this but I can't get up. Take Poppypaw she has a chance to live..."

Cloudpaw trailed off before closing her eyes. "What's going on?" a sweet voice asked.

Mysteryheart. he thought as he remembered what Redfang said. She has a destiny that's soon to be fulfilled!

"Cloudpaw is on the rink of dying," the butterflies in his stomach made him sound unhurt by it. "She's going to StarClan now..."

Poppypaw wails. "Why? Why not Bear-"

"Because he has a destiny and since StarClan is taking her, she's done hers." his future mate growls lowly and defensively.

He smiled. He loved her, he knew he would do anything for her to be happy. "Let's go get you in Graystar's den," she told Poppypaw. For now. it echoed in his head. "Fox-hearted apprentice," she obviously didn't mean for anyone to hear that, but he did.

They took the sick apprentice to the leader's den. He followed her back to the medicine dog den. "Cloudpaw?" she called softly and nicely.

Cloudpaw moaned. He jetted over to her. "I'm sorry you have to die like this...

Cloudpaw looked up to her brother. "I wish I could've lived longer.... Had a mate. See you guys," she stopped with coughs. "You guys become mates and have pups... But I guess I'll see from StarClan."

Her eyes slowly began to close. "No! Cloudpaw! No, no.... No. Don't... leave yet..."

Mysteryheart looked at him with round worried eyes. "It's gonna be okay," she tried to sooth. "But we can morn later, right now the Clan needs us to fight."

He gave her a nod but didn't speak. Bearpaw didn't want to take his anger out on her. Instead he would take it out on the three Clans that they were up against.
