Bearpaw

He waited for what seemed like forever for Mysteryheart to come back. He waited and waited. Bearpaw had barely got any sleep last night, he couldn't sleep without knowing Mysteryheart was safely in the warriors' den.

"You've been up all night!" his friend, Graypaw howled.

"Yeah and you can't say you didn't!" Flowerpaw, Graypaw' s sister, told Bearpaw.

His eyes gleamed. "Why's that?"

Graypaw didn't look  serious, but he never did. His love might not enjoy him. He takes nothing serious. Why would he about love? Bearpaw thought.

Flowerpaw answered this too. "I heard you whining and saw you out of the den. Why were you up so late?"

"You're not my mother!" he snapped.

Graypaw walked away awkwardly. "Uhh... I will see you later Bearpaw..."

Flowerpaw rolled her eyes and walked up to Bearpaw. "You will tell me why or I will tell Graystar. You know, the leader that can punish you!" she sneered.

He looked at her straight in the eyes. "You don't scare me anymore, Flowerpaw... I am the same size as you!"

Her back arched and her fur stood on end. She began to growl. Then she swiped her paw across his face. "You wanna fight? I'll give you a fight." he answered to her.

She lunged at him. Before he could dodge she was on top of him. "Oh I'll make you regret your choice !" she snarled.

He stretched his neck out and got to her snout. Bearpaw bit down hard on her mouth. She immediately began to tend to the fresh wound. While she did that, he made her collapse on the ground with one paw. He tackled her and as he did so, Mysteryheart ran in.

"What's going on? I heard this halfway here!" she stared at Bearpaw. Uh-oh! Shouldn't have done this...

Berrypaw was close to his mate. HIS MATE! He didn't like it at all. "Shouldn't you be sorting herbs or something?" he asked the medicine dog apprentice.

Mysteryheart stared at Bearpaw. Then switched off to Flowerpaw. She smiled at her. "Are you hurt?"

He clearly knew that she was talking to Flowerpaw but her answered anyway. "I'm fine. You know it wasn't that bad of a fight......." he slowly stopped his sentence to see her giving him a hard cold stare.

She gave him a 'I'm older than you' look. "I was talking to Flowerpaw, sweetie.. I'm glad your okay but you aren't the one with blood spewing out of her snout..."

"Right..." he muttered.

She brought herself closer to him. Her mouth barely touching his ear. "Meet me at the river on the WindClan side," she whispered.

"Okay!" he cheerfully whispered.

He immediately raced off. He ran all the way to the border ThunderClan had with WindClan. When he got there, he slowed his pace, kept his ears pricked, and stayed alert.

Bearpaw stopped. He peered out of a bush and saw WindClan dogs pounding their paws closer and closer to the border. And it wasn't a small group of dogs that were going to speak with Graystar. The pack of dogs were a large amount.

Attack! was his first thought. And he was sure.
