Okay so this is going to be a short one... But the next one will be longer! ;-)
Graystar
She looked worriedly at her mate. Mosspelt looked at her with a reassuring face that he always gives trying to say that it's gonna be alright.
"Are you sure you want to tell her, Mosspelt?"
Mosspelt was obviously not going to back down since she finally agreed to it. "Graystar I know this is going to be hard for you..." he paused giving her a quick lick on the snout. "But StarClan is ready to take me. I want us to do this together while I'm still here."
Her heart felt shattered as he told her this. "You... You can't leave me so soon..." she cried.
"I won't. I just want to get this done with so we can live without it always bugging us. Bugging you." She looked at him surprised on how he knew, but he is her mate, he knew everything about her.
She looked to the floor. "If only I raised them. We could've had more than one litter!" Ever since she was a pup she wanted a mate that cared for her and plenty of children. That could've helped the Clan as well. If she had more they would have grown into strong warriors that would fight for the Clan.
"I wanted to... But I knew that the Clan was way to important to you. I was going to try and stop you," he stared straight into her eyes. "But why dread on the past when our daughter is right there! I'm sure she would have done the same thing for the Clan too."
As always his words comforted her. She lifted her chin from staring at the ground. "I'm ready," she muttered simply.
Graystar went out of her den and went straight to Mysteryheart. "Hey Graystar," she greeted lifting her face from her mouse.
"Can we have a minute with you in the den?" Mosspelt asked as Graystar stood frozen fearfully. "Right now?"
"Uhhh.... Yeah. Just give me a secon-" he interrupts her.
Mosspelt looked into his daughter's eyes. "We don't have a second."
Her eyes widened and went from Graystar to Mosspelt. "Okay then let's go."
Graystar lead the way to the cave. "I'm glad you came," she had to choke it out thanks to her nervousness.
Mosspelt sat down beside her. He looked their daughter straight in the eye and said. "We've been meaning to tell you this for a long. long.... time."
Graystar heard a burst through the tunnel entrance. She raced up to see Bearpaw. His eyes were round and heavy with worry. Mysteryheart raced down to him.
"What happened?" she asked. Her daughter tried to sooth him with kind licks on his face.
Instead of telling his future mate what happened he ran to Graystar. "Oh Graystar!" he yelled out of breath. "You aren't going to like this!"
"What is it?" she finally could speak without nervousness nagging at her pelt.
"WindClan...." he trailed off.
Mysteryheart raced to him. "What happened sweetie? Did they hurt you?"
"I'm fine!" he snapped at her and turned back to Graystar. "WindClan have teamed up with RiverClan..."
Graystar didn't look as worried. "Somebody go get ShadowClan for help-"
Bearpaw cut her off. "No Graystar we can't!"
"Why not?" she asked frustrated with the apprentice.
"They've teamed up with WindClan too."
