25 Back to School

Gray's POV

I was taken out of school for a little bit due to the events that have occured, but Sky came over to our apartment and helped me with homework since we bascially took the same classes. I put all my homework in my backpack. I didn't even think it would ever be this heavy before. I also got all the homework for Ethan, but it hasn't been done. He still hasn't woken up. The drive to school was the weirdest part of it. So much has honestly happened I didn't know what to do. Word got out at school that Eth and I had a YouTube and social media (even when we told them we didn't), and things blew up from there. At first I think people were mad but Sky helped calm people down and they aren't going to say anything because of Ethan. I pulled into our parking spot, people in the parking lot were already starting to stare. Feeling self concious I played with my hair. I shouldn't even care though. Skylar knocked on the car window. I grabbed my bag and opened the door.

"Are you trying to avoid school?" She laughed.

"Yes...no?" I laughed too, trying to keep myself calm.

"I don't blame you," She smiled.

"I think we need to go in," I motioned to the school doors.

"Sadly enough, yes."

We walked into school and everyone was starring at me. People were wispering and everything too. I guess it's literally out of a movie scene. I walked to Ethan and I's locker and stopped in my tracks. Both were fully decorated and actually flowing onto the ground and on the rest of the wall. I looked around at people who were looking back at me as well. The bell rang.

"What day is it?"

"A...I gotta go. I'll talk to you at lunch okay," she smiled and squeezed my hand.

I looked down at my hand. He was one lucky son of a bitch and I'm glad he's apart of my body. I got opened my locker, got what I needed, and went to class. Going into the weights room where everyone was changing. I felt a little weird being in there but what can you do.

"Hey man, how ya doing?" Troy was acting nicer to me today.

"I'm doing good, thanks for asking," I smiled.

"Hey bro, I saw some of your videos on YouTube. You and Ethan are pretty great," Some random dude I've never seen before said to me.

I pulled my shirt down, "Thanks."

Blake walked up to me.

"How's Ethan doing? Why isn't he here?"

"Uh..."I looked around," Please don't tell anyone, but uh...Ethan's been on life support for about a month and a week now," I bit my lip.

"Oh shit nu-uh," He said in disbelief.

"Yeah, it's been rough."

We continued to talk even when we went up into the weight room.

"So you and Sky huh," I said trying to make conversation.

"Yep, done. But I heard she's alread interested in someone else."

Well you did treat her like shit "Really? I really have been gone forever then," I gave a fake laugh.

"Yeah, a lot has changed. You guys are like the talk of the school."

That, I didn't know what to say. I didn't really want this publicity, but that's how it happened. All throughout the day teachers, students, and other staff memebers have been talking to me and expressing their sorrow for what's happened, but they've also been talking about our sucess on YouTube. By History I was completely worn out. I just turned in all my missing homework and called it good. I lost my attention span after I turned it all in. I think the teacher knew, but he didn't say anything. On my way out to the car, I saw Sky waiting at my Jeep.

"Hey what's up? You never came to see me at lunch," I said stopping when I got close.

"Yeah sorry, there was some stupid drama going on."

"What do you mean?"

"Delilah "hooked up" with Blake."

"No, she's not the type," I shook my head.

"I know, that's why I said it was stupid."

I looked beyond my car and saw Blake and Delilah talking at his car. And they were looking around way to often. Something wasn't right.
