14 Anger + Jealousy

Ethan's POV

Things have been so weird between me and Grayson. I honestly don't know what to do at this point. He's mad at me, but I just want to live a little bit. He's so happy with the life we have now, but I'm yearning for something more. I've decided that I'm going to confront him on this. He isn't making any moves and I want the relationship we had to go back to normal.

"Hey Gray, can we talk?"

He looked up from his homework.

"Sure."

I sat down on his bed and he turned around in his chair to face me. Damn, this is cringy.

"Bro...I'm sorry. I don't know what the hell to do right now. I don't want to have this wall or barrier between us anymore. I know you're mad at me and even that fans are seeing it. When they see it, that's crossing the line for me. I want to you to tell me what the hell is going on in your brain. We've known each other for years bro, why are we doing this now?"

I saw something burst in Grayson, and it kind of scared me, "Because of what you're doing. You're acting like an idiot and smoking pot. Smoking pot isn't the worst thing in the world and you know I don't care, I just don't want to see you go down that path man. You mean a lot to me adn lately I feel like you've been treating me differently. You act like you don't care anymore, like it's about the popularity at school."

"I didn't know I was doing that....I'm sorry. I don't want to hurt you, or mean to hurt you, I just need to live. Me and you have obviously lived man, we do dumb shit everyday. I just feel like we need to branch out. I mean, we won't always have each other in the future you know? We're all we've known and I just want,"

He cut me off, "Something new."

He got up and left the room.

"Grayson!" I yelled getting up as well.

He continued to ignore me.

I grabbed his arm and he threw himself away from me.

"Don't touch me. It's obvious you don't care so just go fuck yourself already," Anger was burning in his eyes.

"What the hell?! I said I was sorry and now you're acting like a fucking douche. You know what, I don't need this," I yelled at him in frustration.

I grabbed the car keys before he could and I stormed out to the jeep. I've never seen Grayson explode like that. We've never been that mad at each other before, but at the moment, I don't really give a shit.

I grabbed my phone and called Blake.

"Hey man what's up?" He asked.

"Bro can we hang out for a while. I need to blow off steam."

"Hell yeah, there's a party tonight by the way. I know it's a school night but who cares right?"

"Yeah," I laughed, "I'm on my way there now."

"Cool, is Grayson with you?"

"No, I'll explain when I get there."

"Ah, the brotherly fight. Okay," he laughed, "later bro."

"Later."

He hung up.
