Grayson's POV

"Hello?"

"Hey, never thought I'd be calling you. Uh, by any chance have you seen Ethan?" I asked.

"No not at all. We haven't talked hardly at all."

I huffed, "Okay well that's all. If you do see him at all, can you give me a call. I don't know where he is right now so..."

"Uh yeah, will do."

"Okay thanks."

"Yup."

I ended the phone call. If that wasn't the most awkward one, I don't know what is. Maybe I should call Skylar. I highly doubt she'd know where he is, but it's worth a shot.

"Hey what's up?" her voice rang through the phone.

"Uh, well...I've seemed to misplace my brother."

"And how did you do that?" She asked.

"Family dinner got out of hand, he drove off, I came home with Cam and he wasn't here."

"Have you tried calling him?"

"Yup, and so did Cam. I also called Blake to see if he knew anything, but there's nothing. Maybe he'd answer you?"

"I don't know. Your brother and I weren't exactly the close ones."

"Yeah you're right."

"I'll still give him a call though."

"Okay thank you, and can you come over too? It's okay if you're busy I just want some company right now."

"Of course, I'll call him on my way there and I'll let you know if he answers."

"Thanks."

"Yup, I love you."

"I love you too."

I opened the door and Skylar was standing there. I pulled her in kissing her lightly. I hope she had a good answer.

"Is there any news?" I asked as she took her shoes off.

We walked over to the couch and sat down.

"No, nothing. But did it automatically go to voicemail for you or did he let it ring?"

"He let it ring, why?"

"I think that's good because he sent me straight to voice mail so that means he got the call which means he's semi-okay right?" She said a little too confused.

"I don't know. For the sake of my mental health let's say yes. I hope he shows up tonight or tomorrow. I don't want this to become a man hunt."

"Yeah, let's just go with that. You know, he's probably just upset and wants some alone time. Everyone has been surrounding him lately."

"Yeah you're probably...hopefully right."

"So what happened at dinner?"

"I told Ethan what my mom did or started to do I guess. About the life support thing and he went off on her at dinner."

"Oh...I mean can you blame him?"

"No, it was my fault anyways. I shouldn't have told him. It just came out. I didn't think this would happen."

"I'm sorry," She rubbed my arm in comfort.

"He even told me that he didn't feel loved before he got in the Jeep. I should've gotten in the Jeep with him. I don't know why I didn't. I'm an idiot."

"No you aren't. Things happen okay, you didn't know that any of this would've happened."

"I just feel like I caused something bad, you know?" I leaned my head on her shoulder.
