If you're reading this, you're not alone. I can help you if you wish to be free. Follow the flow... Suddenly the symbols had vanished!
"What? No!" I yelled. I rushed out of the bathroom. Kilgrave and the guards were gone now. The place was completely empty? The room became cold."Follow the flow" a whisper surrounded me. Suddenly I jolted awake. I immediately touched my chest and arms feeling for the symbols. They weren't there. I visited Jessica but what happened after?... I got up and nearly forgot where I was for a second. I opened the door and was reminded. Kilgrave was sitting on the couch watching TV. He had the same look on his face, the angry resting face. He saw me in his peripheral vision and turned his head sitting up a bit.
"What is it?" He asked. I froze for a second.
"Nothing?" I answered.
"Then what are you doing up?" He asked seeming suspicious.
"I'm bored I guess..."
"Read," he suggested.
"I finished the book," I replied. Before he was able to reply I spoke up. "When can I go outside or do things? No disrespect but, I came back on my own will and you have guards watching me anyway..." kilgrave seemed unmoved. My chest started to hurt as it did before, the exact same feeling as before but nothing appeared in my skin. I sat down on the couch a foot away from kilgrave. He quickly looked at me surprised I was anywhere near him again. He looked me into the the eyes, it was an unsettling feeling but I continued. "Why am I here?" I questioned. Kilgrave looked to think for a moment.
"Your my daughter," he looked to have realized the situation. "I own you," he said looking at me.
"No..." The words spilled from my mouth and he looked at me funny.
"I created you," he said his words hit me like stones.
"I am alive.. I am not a thing you own. I am not here for your amusement. I am trapped here, fearful you will kill someone in my absence. You are torturing me," I said. Kilgrave seemed to go into a memory.
"You're right..." he said. I shot him a look, half expecting him to have not cared once again. Suddenly I saw what he was seeing...
"A child. Tortured...." I said out loud. Kilgrave jumped up with fury. "Who hurt you..." I asked a tear forming in my eye. He saw the tear and backed down.
"My parents..." he said relating to his parents in the same moment. He looked disgusted with himself.
"You can come with me to do business but that's it," he said and a part of me felt free for a moment it almost made me high. I couldn't help but smile, I had made progress and my power wasn't completely useless. I just wished I understood why those symbols appeared. How could I follow the flow of energy. I was sitting on the couch deep in thought watching the TV with kilgrave. It was an interesting time. While trapped in my mind I prayed for more progress. I was ejected from my thought process and looked at kilgrave."Thank you," he looked as if he'd never heard the words so genuine before.
"Yeah," he said looking back to the TV. He seemed so worn down... I could feel his energy and mixed was that was his emotion. I could feel how much my words meant to him, then I felt them turn negative in his own head, he couldn't believe that someone could be kind to him without being forced. I reached out and patted his shoulder with a smirk then went off to bed.
"I'm getting up early tomorrow, if you're not ready I'm leaving without you," he called.
"Okay. Goodnight," I said smiling. I went into my room and closed the door softly behind me. I hopped on the bed and laid down and started to travel again. I lifted from my body and moved around. It was very blissful. Everything around me was dark with blues and greens, soft yellows, and dark reds.. it was energy of people... I could feel it and it was so expansive and less lonely. Closest to me was a deep purple, the blotch looked like it were sitting on a couch.. I looked around and even wandered out into the vast world. As I floated around exploring I felt a tug. I turned to the direction of the pull. I went a mile or so feeling a stronger pull in an abandoned motel. I went to the entrance of the room and went through the door. As I walked through the door I saw them. Five to seven people hunkered down in the span of two rooms. The walls between the two rooms had been torn down. There was a couple people sleeping in the beds, some people sitting around a heater. And a man sitting in the room and he seemed to be meditating. He seemed maybe a handful of years older than me, he had some stubble on his face. He was wearing a blue collared shirt that was ripped and dirty along with a pair of work pants that had a plethora of holes. I walked further into the room. His eyes opened and looked up at me. His eyes were radiating in color, the purest blue I had ever witnessed.
"She's here!" He announced then the whole group looked toward the man. "Come sit awhile, we have things to discuss," he said.
