"______. I would like you to meet Bruce." Pepper introduced.
"It's an honour Dr Banner." I flushed as he turned around to face me.
"Bruce this is ______. Your new assistant." Pepper said, a hesitancy to her tone.
"I look forward to working with you Dr Banner." I smiled, lowering my head slightly to cast my gaze nervously on the floor.
"Please call me Bruce." he smiled, offering out his hand for me to shake.
"Well we best continue with the tour. Tony has a dinner reservation at six." Pepper said, leading the way down the hall.
Bruce could only hope that this assistant was better than the last one Tony had employed.

"______? You are here early." Bruce greeted, entering the lab.
"I didn't want to be late on my first day..." I blushed.
"How do you like your coffee?" he asked, heading towards the coffee machine situated next to a mini fridge.
"Just a little milk." I smiled.
"No sugar to sweeten the taste?" he asked, placing two sugar cubes into his cup.
"I was always told I was sweet enough." I blushed, reaching for my note pad to go over my notes I had taken to improve my knowledge in at least one of Bruce's PhD's.
"Tony wants Steve's relay motor checked out. Something about a fault. Shield no longer attracts properly." I said, bringing down Steve's Captain America suit.
"And Tony couldn't do it himself?" Bruce asked.
"He said something about Biochemistry at its finest."
"Flattery really gets him nowhere." Bruce said.
"I was wondering if maybe it could work upon Steve clasping his hand, or positioning his arm in a certain way? Instead of a magnetic pulse?" I asked.
"That could be possible." Bruce said, looking up from his computer screen.
"If we attached relay pulses throughout the seams of the suit, to monitor heart rate, pulse maybe muscle movement?" I said.
"M-" Bruce started.
"Maybe not certain muscle movement because while he's fighting his shield could attract to his arm." I giggled slightly at the thought.
"Heart rate is always higher during a fight. Detecting a lowered heart rate and muscle movement could work?" Bruce offered.

"It works like a dream." Steve announced as he tried out the new technology on his suit in the lab.
"Don't thank me. Thank _____." Bruce said.
"Oh no. Dr Banner did all the work. I just assisted." I blushed.
"You came up with the idea." he countered.
"Dr B-" I started.
"I thought I told you to call me Bruce?" he smiled slightly.
"In thanks you should take her out for dinner." Tony said as he 'innocently' walked past the lab.
A pink tinge flooded Bruce's cheeks.
Steve coughed awkwardly.
"Well thank you both. This will make missions a lot easier." he said, stepping backwards slightly.
"There isn't a very long range maybe twenty five yards. You can't be too far away... but you don't need to be touching it." Bruce coughed.
"Of course. Thank you again." Steve said, fleeing the room.
I quickly busied myself with tidying away the lab when Bruce grabbed my attention.
"Dinner isn't such a bad idea? If you would like to go that is?" Bruce blushed.
I swear I was as red as a tomato.
"I would love to." I smiled, my stomach completing summersaults.
"Is eight o'clock okay with you?" he asked, toying with a screwdriver.
"Perfect."
