"Have I offended you in any way?" Jarvis- Vision's familiar voice asked.

I looked up from wrapping my hands in tape to see him standing formally in the doorway.

"Always out with the straight questions." I said, finishing and standing up.

"You did not answer my question." he said.

"No Vision. You haven't offended me. You have shown me kindness and compassion and I am thankful. But I am afraid I fear that thing on your head a lot more than I originally expected. I did not mean to offend you by keeping my distance... but your better off somewhere or maybe even with Wanda." I said, walking over to the punch bag.

"I apologise that I have not learnt how to control the Mind Stone as quickly as I would have hoped." he said.

"You don't need to apologise Vis. It's alien technology. Something maybe nobody will understand." I said.

"I will continue my research. I will learn to control it so you will no longer fear me." he said, departing from the gym.

Great.

Way to go _______.

You just scared off the only man that has ever shown any interest in you.

Well I mean he's not really a man...

Maybe I'm going to be stuck alone forever...

"Vision?" I called out, walking towards the library.

FRIDAY had kept me posted.

He seemed to spend all day in the library.

This cheered Tony up.

He wasn't too thrilled with the idea of building me a library. He told me nobody would use it with todays technology.

But Vision was an Android... a portal of information... yet he resided in the library.

I turned the handle on the door slowly and creeped into the library.

The smell of books hit me in an instant and I regretted not spending as much time in here these last few weeks as I would have hoped.

"Vision?" I called out again.

"_____. Please I do not mean to frighten you." he said, appearing from the shadows standing rigid.

"Quite the opposite in fact." I smiled softly.

This relaxed his rigid frame.

"We have a mission... wheels up in thirty. I just thought I would let you know." I smiled.

"I still have yet to understand the Mind Stone." he said, standing still.

"You have spent weeks cooped up in here Vision." I said.

"These weeks have been spent finding empty theories." he sighed.

"Maybe we don't need theories. Maybe we just need faith." I said, walking closer to him.

He took a small step back.

"Faith is not a reality." he said.

"I have faith that you understand and can control the Mind Stone a lot more than  you believe yourself." I said, coming gradually closer to him.

"I do not understand your reasoning." he said.

"I guess what I'm trying to say is that I trust you. I trust you with the Mind Stone. I trust you. You are the true posessor of the Mind Stone. We are thankful that you are the posessor." I smiled up at him.

"You no longer fear me?" he questioned.

"I never feared you Vision. Quite the opposite. I guess I had an irrational fear of the Mind Stone." I said.

"Your fear for the Mind Stone is not irrational." he said, our toes touching we were now that close.

"I no longer fear the Mind Stone as long as it is within your possession." I answered.

"Come on you two lovebirds wheels up in ten." Tony smirked as he passed the open door of the library.

At his words I blushed.

"I'll see you in the jet?" I asked hopefully, looking up at him through my eyelashes.

"Of course." he said, hesitating.

I stayed put for a milisecond longer than I should and I was glad I did.

Vision placed a swift but gentle kiss to my forehead before he retreated to prepare for the mission at hand.
