Seriously Sirius

Chapter 1

"Au Revior Papa," I yell as I hop on the Hogwarts Express. Rose repeats a similar farewell and trots along behind me following my lead. Since we are both new at Hogwarts this should be awkward. I don't miss Beauxbatons at all. I hated that school, hence purposely getting expelled. Rose really liked it there though. Plus Papa had a better job opportunity out here then in France anyway so it was beneficial to what's left of our family. I had gotten completely lost in my thoughts, to the point where I didn't even notice Rose had left to find a compartment and hopefully make some friends. I wasn't paying attention and crashed into red-headed girl. She appeared to be a bit frenzied honestly.

"I am so sorry!" I squeaked awkwardly, my French accent smudging my words a bit.

"Oh it's quite alright, I'm Lily, Head Girl, and a Gryffindor," the redhead said holding out her hand to shake.

I obliged while quietly asking, "What is a Gryffindor?"

"You must be new here! Gryffindor is one of four houses you can get sorted into, which will be happening later presumably," she snorted.

"Uh, well my name is Emily," I said after a short, yet extremely awkward pause.

"Well, I think I saw a friend of mine go in to a compartment a little ways down, would you like to join me?" I was relieved Lily asked so I didn't have to. I nodded enthusiastically. She began to walk off with me in tow.

After a few minutes we had arrived at the small room containing some of Lily's friends.

Lily groaned a bit before batting her eyelashes and poking her head in, "Do you have room for two lovely ladies in this compartment boys?"

There seemed to be a mutual agreement that we could enter. Lily led the way and I rushed in after her, attempting to use her to hide me. Though it didn't work because I have a couple inches on her.

"Hi, I am Sirius, Sirius Black," one of the boys said with so much cockiness it pained me.

"Dial back the 'charm' mister playboy I am not getting involved with that," I replied snarkily gesturing towards him.

"That one hurt, it hurt me right here," he replied with a fake pained expression while holding his heart.

"She is right you know, you just sound desperate at this point," Remus said.

"He practically humps everything he sees," Lily says rolling her eyes.

This got everyone but Sirius to giggle.

Lily continued introducing people gesturing to them as she went, "Anyway, that Peter, That's Remus, and that's-"

"James, Lily's boyfriend!" The boy who claims to be James shouts enthusiastically, before being slapped by Lily.

"That is just James, who is hopelessly in love with me, he is honestly desperate," Lily says ending it with a sassy hair flip.

James quickly retorted, "I am not desperate!"

"Everyone knows you are desperate to get a piece of this," Lily replies smoothly while gesturing to herself.

Everyone else in the room yelled, "Oooooohhhhh!" And they all just laughed. Though James had become a tomato because of how embarrassed he was. Honestly he was as red a fire truck.....
