I have finally started to really get over everything with Beckett. It had been about a week and a half since the incident. I just wish I had never told him about the ability to create spell. We would still be together and happy. It's all my fault.

"It's not your fault," Rose said reassuringly.

"How did you know that is what I was thinking?" I said and sniffled.

"Emily I can read you like a book," she replied with a smug grin. I rolled my eyes playfully in response. We giggled a bit before going on a hunt for Lily.

After trying for about an hour we gave up on finding Lily. We will just meet her at the quidditch pitch. We ran off in its general direction.

Upon arrival I gave Rose a hug for good luck. We then had to split up, her going to get ready for the game and me going to find a seat.

I eventually found Lily and sat next to her. Not long after, the players took off into the sky.

"Let the game begin," Madam Hooch's voice rang across the field. She threw the quaffle into the air as the bludgers and snitch were released.

Lily and I cheered like our lives depended on it. Our voices were hoarse from screaming so much. Our hands were raw and red due to the intense clapping.

James zoomed after the snitch. Rose was racing past other players trying to score a goal. It was a close game. Everything was tied up. The snitch would be the deciding factor of the entire game.

James let out a victorious shriek before landing. He held his hand up in the air proving he had caught the snitch.

The entire Gryffindor section erupted in cheers. The Hufflepuffs grumbled in disappointment at their loss. They got their hopes up for nothing. They actually thought they stood a chance against us? Ha! You hear that! I laugh at the poor fool who thought they would win!  I think I am a bit to excited about this...

Out of no where, a bludger flew by at lightning speed. It looked as if it had the force of a thousand angry bulls. It was headed straight for Rose.

"Rose look out!" My scream echoed into the pitch. The rest seemed to happen in slow motion. She hadn't been fast enough. The bludger connected with her neck at the base of her skull.
