I was in a room. I couldn't differentiate the floor from the walls. Everything was completely white. No separation, no colored cracks. Just white for what could have been a few feet or very well a few miles.

I began walking in one direction assuming I could find an exit eventually. The white began to fade into images. Bits and pieces of things I could remember of my mom. All the way up to her death.

The images were the most clear then. I ran away from the scene along with the one of her funeral.

I ran past so many memories that I didn't want to see. Memories I didn't want to face. I couldn't except them. They were too much. I couldn't handle the pain they brought.

I was yanked out of my dreams and back into reality. The pain had gotten to me so bad it woke me up. Tears were streaming down my face. My cheeks were warm and sticky. I curled up into a ball as the sobs wracked through my body.

Nightmares. They are, in my opinion, your subconscious deciding to bully you with your weaknesses. I can't sleep. I know that these memories will plague my mind throughout the night.

I wonder if Beckett is awake. I wonder if anyone is awake. Rose! I should go see her. Sure it's late, but still. I haven't seen her all week! She got out of the hospital wing and I haven't had time to see her!

I pulled on some socks and tip-toed towards the door. I managed to get through without waking anyone up. As quietly as humanly possible I snuck into Rose's dorm.

She for whatever reason was the only one in her dorm at the moment. She was asleep. I slowly approached her and shook her awake.

"Wha- Oh... Hi, Emily," she yawned. "Bad dream?" I just nodded in reply. She held out her arms and I gave her a big hug.

We sat there for a while silently hugging. She has calmed me down and we were now just joking and playing around. I had told her of all the events of the the past week, or the interesting ones at least.

We talked away the night. Soon, she checked the time. "You should go to your dorm and get some sleep, it's like 3 am," Rose yawned. She placed her head on the pillow and made a shooing motion at me. When I had just about left the room I saw her eyes flutter closed. I sighed happily and waltzed back to my dorm as quiet as a ninja.
