Seriously Sirius

Chapter 4

Ugh, these people won't drop it. It is already lunch and they are still talking about Sirius and I! Right now they are literally discussing ship names for us.
"Emirius?" James suggested. God, these name ideas are horrible.

"Sirily?" Lily suggested. There was a mutual agreement upon that ship name. I swear if they don't stop soon I am going to murder them.

At this point Sirius had walked away to the Hufflepuff table and began chatting up a girl. I saw him grab her hand and lead her away.

I gestured in their general direction, "See? He doesn't like me," there was the slightest pinch of hurt in my voice and I hoped no one noticed. I also tried not to drag any attention to it.

"No! I will not let this random Hufflepuff chick sink my ship!" With a loud and shrill battle cry Lily ran off after them.

"I better make sure that innocent mind of hers stays that way," James says shaking his head before running off.

"I would like to see how this plays out so I'll se you guys later," I said before grabbing a cupcake and running after them. I finished my cupcake and tossed out the wrapper.

I ran down the hall and turned the corner to see James covering Lily's eyes and holding her back, though he was barely succeeding.

"Let me at him! Let me at him! One quick smack or two should teach him not to screw with my OTP! Let me at that little brat! No! He is a hi knocker if he thinks he is getting away with this!" Lily was tearing and swatting away at James's hands.

"Trust me Lils you don't want to see what's happening in that closet," James says tightening his grip on her. I cough to get the two to acknowledge my presence.

Upon seeing me James reluctantly lets go of Lily. She ran full force at the closet door. She opened it for a couple seconds before shutting it and running away.

"My poor innocent mind," she screamed.

"I don't want to say I told you so, but screw it I told you so," James replies.

I calmly walked over to the closet door, but before I could open it, I was pulled back by Lily and James.

"No! Trust me you don't want to see what is happening in there! I am scarred for life," Lily states dramatically.

"The are doing arts and crafts....." James says with air quotes around arts and crafts.

I felt a small pang in my chest. I barely knew Sirius, but it still stung. I actually thought he might like me... I guess I was wrong. I realized what they must be doing. I knew it sure as hell wasn't arts and crafts...

Lily began fuming and yelling, "I am going to murder him! I will hack off all of his limbs and ship them all to different countries! But I am going to burn his-"

"Language Lily!" I yelled not wanting to hear the rest of Lily's plan.

This time James opened the door and said, "You two should really learn how to lock doors, to avoid confrontation like this."

I simply walked away not wanting to see the smug smirk on his face. I heard Sirius scream, but I continued walking presuming James had given up and let Lily kill Sirius. And at the moment I didn't care. I actually almost wanted to join her.
