Finals ended... Yes, I passed. Are you surprised? I would be offended if you were... I did pretty well if I may say so myself. The summer so far has been great. Lily and I moved into an apartment together. Sirius and James having moved into an apartment of their own.

We lived in a wizards only apartment complex. Well, it technically was wizards only. More so because only wizards knew about it. So that counts, right?

Anyway, that isn't really important. I, like the rest of my little group of friends, joined in with the Order of the Phoenix, much to Sirius's dismay. He tried to keep me out of more dangerous missions, but I found my way around him anyway.

Sirius asked me to a date. And not just casually it was just kind of out of the blue. Having been dating Sirius for about a year at that point, I knew something was up right away. But, I never turn down a nice backyard picnic.

I really love the outdoors. I would live in a tree house for life if I could. But alas, that is not socially acceptable place to live...

I was soon completely lost in my train of thought. Sirius continuously waved hand in front of my face to bring me back to our world.

When I finally did arrive back I reality I took in the scene before me. There was Sirius Black standing in front of me. He was bent down on one knee, reaching into his pocket.

"Emily Johnson, I love you, so freaking much, and I want the rest of my life to be promised with you, so will you marry me?" Sirius asked. He held out a small box with a simple engagement ring.

My breath caught in my throat. This was not where I thought this date was going. I thought it was just some random date, like most of ours were. I was caught completely off guard.

My voice came out as barely a whisper, "Seriously Sirius?" He nodded. "Yes, of course you baboon!" I yelled as he pushes the ring onto my finger. I then did the most appropriate thing for that situation, I kissed him. And things might have went a little further. We had somehow managed to get all the way into the house and into a bedroom without us, or at least me, noticing much movement. Our bodies took control.

And there will be no more detail of what happened after that. Hopefully the whole birds and the bees talk has happened to you by the time you are reading this. Thought that isn't how I would tell it. I don't particularly enjoy sugar coating.
