I decided to just hang out with Rose for the rest of the day. I had finally found her and she was talking to someone. When I got closer I realized they weren't talking they were arguing. The girl she was arguing with lifted her up by the collar. The girl punched Rose a few times before throwing her to the ground unconscious. I attached the girl. I will avenge my sister. After the girl ran away tail tucked I picked Rose up and brought her to the Hospital wing. I was muttering swear words under my breath the entire time. When we arrived I placed Rose on a bed explain what happened to the nurse and then sped off. Just as I reached the Gryffindor common rooms however, McGonagall found me.

"Miss Johnson, Headmaster Dumbledore would like to speak to you in his office," she said. I nodded and she lead me to his office.

After we entered the office Dumbledore gestures for me to take a seat. "I would have also had your sister come in had she not been in that accident earlier," he started.

After a few moments I blurted out, "I didn't do anything wrong yet! Why am I here?"

"I don't really know how to say this... Your father... Has had some complications... With his heart...He has... Passed..." Dumbledore trailed off. He was attempting to put this gently. I didn't need it gently I need to know everything now.

"I knew Papa had some heart issues in the past, but... We though he had a bit more time than this," I whispered.

My heart shattered. I let the tears fall. All I had left was Rose. First Mom, now Papa... I can't take this. I need to tell Rose. I need to hold her tight. I can't loose her too. She is all I have left. I weakly thanked them before running off back towards he hospital wing.

Rose was awake when I arrived. I was crying so hard I could barely get the words out. Rose cried with me. We just sat in the hospital wing crying until there weren't any tears left for us to use. I attempted to dry my face. It was warm and sticky with tears.

I bid Rose a weak goodnight before leaving to my dorm. She said she had to stay in the hospital wing, but I didn't know why. She looked fine to me expect for a few fading bruises. I decide against delving into the topic and trudged up to bed. Spending an entire afternoon crying really takes its toll on a gal. I fell asleep upon contact with my pillow.
