I smiled as the man came and picked me up to finally be adopted.
Man- hello.. Y/n is it?
You- yes sir, I am very excited to be adopted to you. I've actually been pinching myself to see if this was all real, but oh boy it is! Last night I stayed in that tree just right over there, it was oh so lovely. Oh I'm so ecstatic!
The mans eyes widened and we started walking to the carriage, I kept a smile on my face. We got into the carriage and we started moving, I looked at the wonderful scenery, it was absolutely breathtaking.
You- I'm actually foreign to the idea of seeing such gracious scenery, oh how I've dreamed of this day. Would you care to pinch once more to see if it's all real?
Man- it's very real, I don't think that's necessary Y/n.
I nodded and smiled as I saw the gorgeous horse field. Horse have always been my favorite animal.
You- horses are a fine animal, don't you think?
Man- ye-
You- I've always loved how they neigh when you pet them, am I talking too much. My lady before always told me that I've always had a big mouth.
Man- I don't mind.
I smiled and watched the scenery pass by, I was finally home.

3 months later
I walked up to Gilbert and he smiled, I met him 2 months ago when my family enrolled me in school.
Gilbert- hey Y/n, are you quit well?
You- I don't feel that well today, but I wanted to come see you?
Gilbert- why?
I sighed and looked at him in the eyes.
You- I've grown very fond of you Gilbert
Gilbert- me as well
You- I mean I like you more as a friend, Gilbert
His eyes went wide and he soon turned his face into a smile.
Gilbert- I like you as well
I smiled and he leaned in close, I leaned in as well and he put his lips on mine softly. His lips were soft and enjoyable. I loved it. I loved Gilbert Blythe.
