YOUR FATHER'S P.O.V

i walked down the long hallway with a frown on my face, swiftly turning the corner into the living where Thomas was sitting in front of the fire. "Thomas."
i spoke sternly, crossing my arms over my chest as i stared him down. he slowly lifted his head with a quite nervous smile. "yes sir?" he finally spoke after a couple minutes.
"gather some more men, put on your biggest coat and let's find them. we can't sit here and wait for them, because my daughter is upstairs worried her ass off." i explained. "now.. GO!" i yelled, watching him scurry away, tripping over his foot with a groan.
i ran my hand over my now sweaty face as i looked up at our ceiling. "please be okay.."

i opened my eyes quickly once i heard talking, already not being able to sleep so i decided to check it out. i put on my slippers and quietly left my room, looking around to see if anybody was there.
i peered into the living room, watching as my dad talked to thomas, "now.. GO!" jumping slightly when he raised his voice.
find them? without me?
i scoffed loudly in my mind as i hurriedly made my way back to my room, trying my best to close the door quietly. "if he can go and find them. so can i." i said to myself, gathering the right attire to leave.
