they were just children, pulled into a mess that their mother made. they were innocent or so that's what people thought. Dr.Brenner thought otherwise, he saw something in the twins that nobody else saw.

One night their mother came into the facility, gun in bag and pushing a stroller containing two babies, twin babies to be exact. She walked up to the front desk.
Mom- I need to see Dr.Brenner!
Lady- he is very busy at the moment-
Mom- NOW!
She pulled out the gun, pointing it at the innocent lady. The lady's eyes went wide and she started to strutter.
Lady- ma'am- I uh
Mom- Dr.Brenner. now.
They lady nodded vigorously, she typed something and motioned for her to go back. Their mother pushed the stroller all the way to his office, she banged on the door and huffed.
He opened it with a smile on his face.

Brenner- yes?
Mom- WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO MY BABIES! WHAT DID YOU DO!
Brenner- I have done nothing to your children.. I helped them
Mom- HELP THEM WHAT?! HOW ARE THEY DOING THINGS WITH THEIR MINDS! YOU KNOW WHAT TO HELL WITH YOU!
Brenner- ma'am I assure you that I have done nothing but help your intelligent daughters see their talents, perhaps you are not fond with them now since they have shown their true abilities and that may upset you?
Mom- you don't know me.
Brenner- people will be over to take your children-
Mom- NO!
She pulled out her gun once more and aimed it at Brenner, he stayed calm and looked at her.
Brenner- I would advise you to put the gun down, our systems are very high tech and if the camera see any type of violent items the alarms will go off..

He was obviously lying, but he didn't want to be shot so he took matters in his own hands and told her false information.
Mom- fine. but you aren't taking my babies!
She turned around not seeing that Brenner had ushered two men to take her away, she began screaming and wailing her arms. He just smirked and took the babies into a room.

Meanwhile, she was being laid on a table with electricity cords stuck in the side of her head. They put something in her mouth. Brenner then walked in.
Brenner- she won't have any memory after this right?
Guy- yes, but only if the temp is at a high level. but if we do that. It could fry her brain sir..
He looked at her moving around..
Brenner- 450.
Guy- but sir-
Brenner- 450!
They guy nodded and turned it all the way up and flicked the button causing her to go ballistic on the metal table whilst Brenner just watched.

The babies cried in the next room for hours as they heard the screams of their mother.

13 years later..
your p.o.v
running. that's all I knew of right now, we had been running for what felt like ages. I looked over at El and she looked back, I didn't see the rock until I tripped and fell flat on my face. She bent down and checked if I was okay, we heard the men's voices getting closer.
El- we, go.
I put up my hand and made us go invisible once the men were right in range of our location.
Man 1- I heard them!
Man 2- this way!
They ran the other way and I put us back into visibility, I got up and brushed off the gown I was wearing. I hat a cut on my leg and my eyes widened.
you- blood. bad.
El gasped and I shook my head, and I kept walking more so limping. We arrived at the end of the long wet woods and looked out to see flash lights.
Dustin- holy shit.
Lucas- what the hell?
The pale one came close, El and I backed away slowly and he put his hands up.
Mike- it's okay, I'm uh Mike and these are my
friends Dustin, Lucas and uh Will isn't here
My eyebrows furrowed and I looked at El she looked at me and I talked to her in my head.
'Should we trust them?'
'I don't know'
'Do they look trust-trustable?'
We looked at them and they looked at us with raised eyebrows.
'Maybe.'
'Let's see'
You- m-m-my name is 10 and- 11 is sister
They looked at us if as though we were crazy, I sighed.
You- sisters.
They all nodded.
Mike- uh you want to come to my uh.. house to get some dry clothes and uh eat?
They two boys behind him hit his shoulder lightly, I frowned.
El- no.. hitting.
They looked up and nodded hesitantly.
Mike- well uh would you?
I looked at El.
'should we?'
'yes. it's cold and we are hungry.'
I nodded and looked at Mike and nodded, he smiled and got on this wheel thing. El and i cocked our heads to the side as we looked at the device. He must have saw our confusion when he spoke up.
Mike- it's a bike.. b-I-k-e
We nodded and saw as Mike patted the back of his bike, I wondered how El and I were supposed to fit on such a small, b-bike? His eyes widened as realization hit him.
Mike- uhm you can get on my bike and your sister can get on one of theirs
I nodded and looked at El, she looked uneasy.
'it's fine El get on the bike with one of them, one you trust'
She nodded and walked up to the curly haired one, I hopped on the back of the pale one's device. As he started to move I got scared and my powers got out of control and we turned invisible.
Dustin- MIKE!
He looked at me with wide eyes and I opened my eyes, making us go back to visibility. All of their eyes wide except for El's of course.
You- s-sorry..
Mike- you have powers?!
I looked down and he exhaled, and he started to ride again. I got used to the feeling of the riding and wrapped my arms around his waist. I felt as he tensed up and I sighed.
you- don't. be scared. won't hurt you
He nodded and he relaxed into my arms and he rode down to what seemed like a long street.

We must have arrived at the pale boy's house as all of them came to a halt. El hopped off the bike and so did i, I walked over to her and kept her close still not fully trusting this 'Mike' character.
Mike- uhm so my parents are here, so we would have to go through the back and it will lead us to he basement. is that okay?
We both nodded and we followed the pale boy, the boys in the back were having a conversation. We were farther than them so I listened in on them.

'I don't think this is a good idea' the one with the lisp said. 'I know, Mike is nuts!'
I stopped listening after that and just sighed, I followed El into the house as Mike held the door open.
Mike- I'm going to have you wear some of my clothes, they just got wash so it's fine.
I nodded and we both sat down on the couch waiting for Mike to get back.

1 week later...
I groaned as I heard a knock on the basement door, i looked out the window and saw the bad men. I gasped.

yes they know words when they communicate in their minds, but of course your mind is faster at learning words than when you actually try to talk.
