"What do you mean?  You don't remember me?" Aaron asked as Aphmau stared blankly at him and Travis.  It felt like his heart was slowly being ripped to shreds as she slowly shook her head.  "No?" She uttered, confused.

Aaron was struck.  He didn't know what to do besides stand there.

"Am I in some sort of trouble?  Do I need to get my husband?"

Her WHAT?!

Aaron nearly fell over, the slightest breeze would of sent him tumbling to the ground.  He looked at her left hand, and saw a ring on her wedding finger.  Sadly, it wasn't the engagement ring he gave to her.  This ring was completely alien to him.

"One moment please" Travis told Aphmau as he pulled Aaron to the side.  Leaving Katelyn with Aph.  He must of picked up on Aaron not being able use his voice on his own, because he seemed to be trying to save him from something.

Once they were far enough away so that Aph wouldn't be able to hear them, Travis whispered, "Look Aaron, I know this is bad, but we can use this to our advantage."

"How?!" Aaron whisper-yelled, the same way of communication was used for the rest of the conversation.

"We need to find out who Aphmau's husband is."

"Um, she doesn't have one!  Not yet anyway, we are suppose to get married as soon as we get back from Starlight!"

"I know!  I received an invitation remember?"

"I addressed it."

"See?  Aph is obviously under a forever potion..."

"Again.  This is so unfair!  This is her third forever potion in a matter of months!"

"I know!  But if we find out what she thinks is reality, we can determine what type of F.P. she's under, and learn the right cure!"

"Ok..."

They then made their way back to where Aphmau was.  She still stood there at the door, now talking with Katelyn.  She met their gaze and asked again, "Do you need to see my husband?"

"Yes please" Aaron answered.  It took all the strength he had to utter those two words.  He should be her husband, not whoever they were about to meet.

What if it was somebody they knew?  It had to be, because no one was at the apartment.  Everyone has to of been taken after they left.  But why?  What was the reason for taking everyone?

Then he remembered, Garroth.  Ash showed a picture of Aphmau kissing Garroth earlier.

Aphmau led them into the small apartment she had, and into what seemed to be a living room.  From the outside the apartment seemed very run down, but on the inside it looked like a smaller version of any other house.  It was a cozy apartment, while still giving you that elegant feel as you entered.

"Sweety!  These people need to see you!"  Aphmau called into what Aaron guessed was a kitchen.  As he heard footsteps coming toward them, he braced himself.  This was gonna be a hard conversation.

"Yes?  What do you want?"  Garroth said walking out of the kitchen.  Travis almost laughed.  Garroth and Aph?  It was cute in high school for a while but now it seemed weird, off.  This wasn't what was suppose to happen.

"Ummm..." Travis began, sensing that Aaron had no intention of talking.  "So... This is weird... How did you and Aphmau meet?"

"In high school.  I was her first kiss, then this girl with vibrant scarlet hair said we were made for each other."

"Technically we knew each other when we were little, our mom's are friends" Aphmau interrupted.

"That's right" Garroth laughed continuing, "Anyway this red head... I can't remember her name, set up all these dates for us and eventually we fell in love, we married right after graduation.  A week after to be exact."

Aaron wanted to walk over and smack him in the face.  The Garroth he knew didn't like Aphmau that way anymore.  He helped Aaron picked out a wedding tux.  He knew Aphmau was Aaron's fiance!

"You said a girl with Scarlet hair?  Was her name Ash by any chance?"  Travis asked.

"Yes!  That's was her name..." Aphmau answered.

Aaron, unable to just stand and take this, asked Aphmau directly.  "I thought you had a thing for some guy in your werewolf class?  Aaron was his name right?"

Travis shot him a look like, Are you kidding me?  We still need more information!   But Aaron didn't care.  He had his reasons for asking these questions.

"Oh... him..."  Aphmau said, almost sad.  Like she was remembering something that almost pained her.  "I did lov..."

Garroth cut her off, "We don't like talking about him.  He hurt her pretty bad.  He's dead to us."

Ummmm... WHAT!?!?  What did he do that was so bad?  Nothing!  Sure They had a bumpy start, but he didn't do anything to really hurt her.  It had to be Ash.  Right?

"Sorry about him," Travis interjected, "He's getting over a girl that left him for another man.  Happens to be his best friend's brother infact."

Aaron shot him a warning glare but Garroth and Aphmau gasped.

"That's awful!"  Aphmau said, almost accusing the man Travis was talking about.

"I'm sorry... What was your name again?  That guy us such a jerk!"

"Aaron, and thanks.  The problem is, I still love her, and I always will."  He looked at Aphmau lovingly, longingly, like even though they were next to each other they were a million miles apart.

He also found it ironic Garroth was calling himself a jerk.  What Travis said was only halfway true, Aphmau didn't go on her own.

Aphmau looked at him sympatheticly.  For a moment he thought he saw a hint of recognition, but just like that it was gone again.

Travis asked, "Have you guys run into a girl with orange hair?  A witch?"

Garroth and Aphmau thought for a moment. "Yes..." Garroth began right as Aph was about to answer, "...but she's weird.  You mean Lucinda right?"

"Yes!  That's what we came here for actually, know where we can find her?"

"You don't want to find her.  She's insane.  She's been telling everyone how we are living a lie, that Aaron's still alive and loves Aphmau, that my brother is alive, and Travis.  Also that all our other friends were under a spell and how only she could cure us.  It got so bad she was brought to a mental asilem."

Travis and Aaron were shocked.  They thanked Aph and Garroth for their help and hospitality then left.  They had some things to talk about.

"Here's what we know," Aaron began, "Ash has them under a memory forever potion, Lucinda is at the mental hospital, everyone who was at the apartment now has a potion as well, and they think we're dead.  Not only that, they know who we are but still didn't recognize us."

Travis spoke, "We need Lucinda.  I have a feeling she is the only one who can tell us why!"
