Kawaii~Chan, as always, was really thankful for Aphmau. She gave her really good advice- as always. Kawaii~Chan was thinking about what Aph had just told her: that she needs to consider Zane's side of the story. It was weird to hear, but it's still true. Throughout the whole argument, she never asked Zane what he thought. All of a sudden, she felt ashamed of that fact.

Kawaii~Chan continued to look for Zane. It was about a thousand times harder than what it needed to be! Everyone was fighting! Even people she didn't even know were at Starlight seemed to be fighting like cats and dogs.

However, she knew she had to get past the crowd. She continued to make her way through the crowd until she saw him- Zane.

He was by the couch in the living area, and he seemed to be upset. She walked up to him slowly. Once they were face to face, she spoke. "Hi Zane~Kun..." Kawaii~Chan said, Zane Answered, "Hi Kawaii~Chan.." He seemed upset, but then again she couldn't blame him. She wasn't listening to him; or at least she wasn't listening to what mattered.

"Zane~Kun... Kawaii~Chan is sorry that she isn't more serious..." She stated. Zane was shocked. Sure, she could be more serious when it was called for, but why would she apologize? That's when Zane realized something. He had made her feel sorry for being herself. What kind of boyfriend am I? he thought. She should feel comfortable and loved by him, not ashamed of who she truly is.

"Kawaii~Chan-" he began, "no. You shouldn't feel sorry for being you! I didn't fall in love with a serious emo-cat girl." "Meifwa!" Kawaii~Chan corrected, and Zane couldn't help but laugh. "You didn't let me finish, I was going to say 'I didn't fall in love with a serious emo-cat girl; I fell in love with a flamboyant, adorable, totally-not-emo meifwa'."

Kawaii~Chan was totally blushing. Why was Zane so sweet? But that didn't matter. Then she thought to herself, Zane~Kun seemed pretty upset before; no way he is just okay. Just like that?

"Zane~Kun" Kawaii~Chan said in a sad tone, "Kawaii~Chan knows Zane~Kun is lying." Zane had a confused expression on his face. Lying? Why would he lie about how much he loved her? He asked her, "Kawaii~Chan? What do you mean?"

Kawaii~Chan had a sad expression on her face. She answered, "Zane~Kun is lying that he is okay with everything. Kawaii~Chan can tell! Zane~Kun was so upset before, now Kawaii~Chan comes over and he's just okay? No! Zane~Kun, be honest with Kawaii~Chan! Kawaii~Chan wants to know how Zane~Kun feels!"

Zane replied, "Kawaii~Chan, how do you know I'm not sincere?" "Because," Kawaii~Chan answered, "if you were you would of called me Nana..."

Zane was in a state of shock. He really thought he was perfectly fine, but was she right? Maybe Kawaii~Chan could tell what he was feeling, even if he didn't know. When he really thought about it she was right. He wasn't "okay". He was distant. Not to his friends, but to himself. He was keeping his feelings from himself. Must be an emo trait.

"You're right.." He answered in a hushed tone. "Does Zane~Kun want to sit down and talk about it?" Kawaii~Chan asked. He replied, "Ya.. ya I do."

Kawaii~Chan sat on the couch, and Zane sat next to her. They looked at Travis and Katelyn, who were sitting at the bar. They seemed to be friends again, and Kawaii~Chan couldn't help but squeal.

"Kawaii~Chan!" Zane yelled, "Really? In my ear!" Kawaii~Chan instantly felt bad; so she answered him sweetly, "Kawaii~Chan is sorry..."

Zane started to role his eyes, but stopped himself. How do you stop mid eye role? Well, It's actually pretty easy. However, the result to such sorcery is a strange duck-trying-to-look-at-it's-neighbor-but-can't-cause-it-lost-it's-eye look.

Kawaii~Chan looked concerned and asked, "Zane~Kun are you okay?" Zane by some magic switched his eye direction toward her, still maintaining the duck face. "Okay Zane~Kun," Kawaii~Chan told him, "Kawaii~Chan is taking you to the doctor." "No!" Zane yelled, and his face returned to normal. "I'm fine"

They sat their for a few minutes talking. Zane told Kawaii~Chan everything. He told her about how he loves her personality, more than anything!- But, still there was a time and a place that called for a more serious expression. He explained how when their friends were hurting like they were, that wasn't an appropriate time for shipping. Sometimes their friends need some time to worry about what they want; not who they look cute with.

He apologized as well. He understood that he shouldn't of acted the way he did at Supernova. That it was wrong for him to storm out of the restaurant like that. Especially sense he truly had no intention on checking on Katelyn and Travis.

Kawaii~Chan laughed. "Kawaii~Chan knew it! She knew Zane~Kun didn't care!" Zane raised his eyebrow at her, and Kawaii~Chan went pale. She pleaded "Kawaii~Chan is so sorry! So So Sorry!" Zane answered with a laugh, "It's fine Nana, between you and me, I really didn't"

Kawaii~Chan couldn't help but smile. She put her head down hoping he wouldn't see her blush. Of course, Zane picked up on this. "What's wrong?" He asked. Kawaii~Chan answered, "Nothing!" Then she continued in a quieter tone, blushing, "You called me Nana..." "Oh" Zane perked up immediately and stated, "I guess I did."

*****

Zane and Kawaii~Chan were sitting in the same place for the rest of the day. Unlike the others around them, they weren't dancing, talking, they were just sitting. Zane had his arm around Kawaii~Chan, and they sat together. With one exception of course! They were sharing a cupcake.

Zane looked at his surroundings. It was so strange, everyone was fighting. Now, as if a spell had changed their thoughts completely, they were fine. Just fine. More than fine, they were dancing with each other.

Of course he didn't complain, he liked the quiet. He looked over and saw Travis wondering the apartment, as if looking for something. He at first thought something was wrong, but quickly brushed the thought away. Let's be honest: Travis was most likely looking frantically for the bathroom after consuming a 16 oz. glass of taco juice. Honestly! What evil possessed him to order taco juice! What evil even placed that on the menu!

Then he thought a little bit. Travis had been staying here all summer, he thought. He should know where everything is by now.

Zane was so lost in his thought that he didn't notice Kawaii~Chan leave. When he snapped back to reality, his arm wasn't around her. He remembered her resting her head on his shoulder, he remembered loving it. So much that he placed his head on hers. Almost as if they were hugging each other. However he couldn't remember her ever leaving that position with him.

He got up and went to the ladies room and knocked on the door. "Nana? You in there?" he asked through the door.

No answer.

He searched her room, the litter box (yes it's stereotypical but this was an emergency), the pool, and the rest of the apartment. After about 15 minutes of searching he was starting to worry. Sure, she wasn't gone long, but that didn't stop the fact that he couldn't find her.

He began to search more frantically. After only a few minutes more he ran into Travis and Aaron. Travis looked worried, but Aaron looked content. Sure, a little annoyed he was bumped into but nothing major.

All of a sudden Travis's face went from worried to confused. "Did you just hear a whistle?" Travis asked. "A whistle?" Aaron asked him back. "I didn't hear a-" Zane started to reply but stopped. He thought he heard a noise but it wasn't a whistle. He heard something though. Then he knew what he heard. It was a strange sound to hear in these circumstances, but he heard it loud and clear.

A bell.
