Pamphilos - nicknamed Philos
He is the Kinbok of the Alke dragoon.
He has two sets of wings - one is feathered and one is bat-like, with the feathered wings above the bat-like set. Two horns curl backwards on his head, but nothing runs down his neck. He has two whispers, obvious ears, and retractable claws. His light blue scales are triangular and his eyes are pink - he is two to three times the size of Thirak.

Natalia

She has three sets of wings that are all feathered and run down her back. She has four horns, all of which curl backwards, and obvious ears. Her claws don't retract, but she does have spikes running down her neck. Her scales are purple and leaf-shaped; she has light green eyes. Her diiv is that of telepathy.

His red scales are diamond-shaped and he has navy blue eyes. Unlike many of his dragoon, he lacks a passive power and instead can use poison.

Seisyll - nicknamed Sei
He is the Kinbok of the Cathasach dragoon.
He has one feathered set of wings and four whiskers. He has obvious ears and retractable claws, and a mane rather than any neck spikes. He has no horns but does have gills, enabling him to breathe underwater. He has green-blue triangular shaped scales and dark, dark green eyes.

Salvo - Albe Dragoon
He is a wyvern with one set of bat-like wings and two legs. He has diamond-shaped auburn scales and purple eyes.

Luce - Albe Dragoon

Alexis - Alke Dragoon
She is the mother of Charalampos (male), Evangelos (male), Iro (female), Photios (male), and Selen (female). She had mated with Pamphilos' twin brother, who died six months before she met Thirak, Azrael, and Rya.
Alexis had two sets of wings - one feathered, one bat-like, similar to Pamphilos. She had two horns curling backwards, two whiskers, and obvious ears. She didn't have anything on her neck and was two to three times the size of Thirak. She had purple-grey triangular scales and blue-purple eyes.

Words

Clan - Immediate family

Dragoon - Immediate and extended family. There were six dragoons - Adal (meaning noble), Thema (meaning queen), Alke (meaning strength), Stea (meaning stars), Alba (meaning dawn), and Cathasach (meaning vigilant). Each dragoon tended to have ten to fifteen members.

Kinbok - This means leader in dragon tongue; it is what the leaders of dragoons were called.

Hatchlings - Dragons one month old or younger

Cubs - Dragons one month to two years old

Yearlings - Dragons around one year old

Egg-siblings - Dragon siblings from the same family

Nest-mates - Means dragons that hatched from the same clutch of eggs

Twin dragons - Means the two dragons hatched from the same egg; this is very rare.

Den-mates - Means dragons who live in the same den

Hah'tey - This translates to mind tales, which are memories of stories or tales told through connecting one's mind with others.

Hunting

Tradition states that dragons only hunt if they are hungry, as they believe life only supplies what is necessary, not an overabundance of resources.

Heh'tey

All kinbok are capable of passing down hah'tey - mind tales. These are stories of the ancestors of the wild dragon colony. However, these ancestors did not have such an easy way of communicating, making hah'tey more confusing. Hah'tey take ages to learn how to pass them down. Those in the tales are ancestors of old. Much of the stories the wild dragons know, and their history, comes from hah'tey passed down through generations.

Names

It's believed that names are a gift from ancestor spirits.

Hatchlings are often given names that are used until they are given theirs by their ancestor spirits. As a result, the wild dragons believe that a name can take ages to be recognised - which is seen in how Seeryath doesn't have a name until later in her life.

As such, it's acknowledged that there are two types of names. One is the name bestowed by another being, and a name that isn't decided by the being in question. The other type is the name that the dragon realises for themselves. Names do not have power unless someone enables a name to have power over them, (as words have power). 'True' names do not exist. Essentially, there are names dragons choose for themselves and then there are names that others bestow upon them.

Plot Notes

There is a reason the hidden dragons enter the fight, (war), and it's not because of a black dragon with scars who refuses to give in, who doesn't know that giving up is an option, who cares but doesn't dare trust but will do everything for what he believes in. It's not because of a blue dragon who loves and cries and grieves, who lost everything but still got up, it's not because she talks and asks and begs and needs the help. It's because a golden dragon (monster) manages to gain the love of a hatchling, the love of a nest of hatchlings, and a mother who needs family; it's because family is important, is vital, is everything in their long lives. It's because a golden dragon without wings doesn't need wings to fly, to soar, but needs to open his heart and love, learn trust, learn to be proud of who he is, of his scars, his wounds, his battles, his fierceness. This is why the hidden dragons join the fight.
