Rising Dragons

Last Words

This... is meant to be my last note for this series. The last of it all, the end of everything. I'm not sure what I'm meant to write, because this series has been four years in the making, give or take a few weeks. I wrote the last chapter for A Dragon's Retribution in Feb, this year. It was completed on the 11th. And I thought to myself then, that I would leave one last note to write when I finally let go of the last chapters. So, here I am. 

This series equates to four years of my life and through some pretty heavy rough patches, and it's been a constant. I'm not too sure what I'm going to do from here on... I have projects lined up, yes. One in particular that I want to be my next 'major project'. But, I'm not quite ready to let go of this series with all of its meaning and the characters. It seems that letting go is going to be quite hard. 

For all that I say this series is complete and finished, it's not quite true. After all, off stage (off-screen?) there's editing to be done, parts to be touched up, and even - with any luck - a second draft to be written (and I would love if anyone wanted to discuss their thoughts and feelings and whatnot about this series - either in relation to finding and locating plot holes or editing or even just to talk about it). Now, I should probably say something... Like thank yous, but then - I don't know who I shouldn't say thank you to and who's disappeared over time and faded into obscurity. I kind of want to say thank you to everyone. Yeah, there are people I'd probably give a special thank you to, but that's already been done in the start of this book, hasn't it? 

Regardless, all of you, thank you for your support and for giving this series a go. I hope you have all enjoyed. And for those of you who wish to continue reading my writing, my next major project is called 'Dragon's Wings' and is set to have the first chapter released shortly. Unfortunately, dragons are not already existing from the first chapter, but they come in, I promise (and with any luck, soon).
