Chapter 3- Coincidentally encounter

Today was just not my day firstly I was struggling for over an hour to get my hair ready and just finally decided to just ware my straight hair loose for the day. Just wonder from all types of hair my parents gave me straight hair that no matter how long I sit and curl it will just never stay like that for too long.

After running so late I had to sit in dreadful traffic on my way to the first meeting of the big contract at Lockwood Corporation and I've heard that the boss is very strict with time, just hope I'm in time.

At least one thing that goes my way today, I reach the main building and quite impressed that I am minutes early. Hell yeah I got this! I mentally high fived myself.

We were all gathered in the boardroom and waiting for the head manager who I have confirmed that his name is the one and only Jayden Lockwood. I just hope that it is a different Jayden and not the devils (Kayden) younger brother.

Just as I thought that this day won't get any worse the universe gives me a very big middle finger! Great just great.

I currently need to give this asshole a presentation and that I need to ace or else I lose the biggest contract for our company, I am going to do this, I need to give him the best presentation he has ever experienced and make sure that he sees that I have changes physically and mentally to give his devil of a brother something to gossip about I need him to know that I can and will live without him.

I start of by showing them my awesome personation on the projector and go through all of the points that needs to be highlighted by the company.

The day went by as a blur after the meeting, I am on my way to Mackenzie's school to pick her up and have a quick stop at the grocery store.

I am so glad its Friday, we are going to stay in tonight and have a mother and daughter bonding night of cartoons and snacks, got everything planned out perfectly.

We had a perfect night and by the second movie Mackenzie was passed out on my lap peacefully sleeping, she must have had a very long day at school.

After I tucked her in her bed and switched on her little dancing unicorn lamp which she can't sleep without, I strolled to my room ready to get a good night sleep.
