They have released two new singles and have even made music videos for them!!! I'm not crying! You are! Gosh, it has felt like so long since we've received this holy gift from our saviors. Also I'm still listening to "Scarlet" on replay. The last I check it had 4.9 million views. It's only been out for two days! That's absolutely crazy! I'm so proud of my babies! AND MACHA'S VOCALS IN "Rest-stop"! I ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT HANDLE IT.
I'm just so proud of them! These songs are bops! No sadness here! No reminders of their past! I'm so relieved that we can finally move on to their future rather than focus on their past.
If you haven't seen the videos, I highly recommend. In Scarlet, the girls are basically all dressed in the traditional clothing of their cultures.
Macha was in the cutest little irish, folk dancing skirt. Kasey kept switching between the Kayapo nudity with body paint and African headdresses. It was so beautiful! Not to mention, Hayden was dress in a blue and gold kaftan. Last but certainly not least, SHILOH LOOKED LIKE AN ABSOLUTE GODDESS. She was dressed in a heavily jeweled and beaded kerchief. It was sort of like a scarf that covered her hair. Then she switched for only a few seconds to some Russian dress. It was beautiful too but Shiloh dressed in a kerchief was magical.
Speaking of headdresses, Hayden didn't wear a hijab. It's not that big of a deal because she sometimes wears and then sometimes decides not to, but in every single music video she has worn a hijab. She was still stunning, it was just a shock to see her brown hair flapping in the wind.
There isn't much to say about "Rest-stop" other than Kasey chased after random extras with a chainsaw, Hayden was the cashier, Macha was a trucker who tried to get away but ended up getting her head cut off in the end, and Shiloh was the policewoman who ended up catching and interrogating Kasey at the end. They then proceeded to work together to annihilate the rest of the world. Then we find out that it was all just Macha's daydream while she was trucking- then NO SHIT SHE GOES TO THE EXACT REST-STOP IN HER DREAM!
It was pretty great, if I'm being honest. There still weren't any Hayden vocals, and I feel cheated but it's okay. On the album, I know she's going to be singing on most of them. At the very least add background vocals. I thoroughly enjoyed both of them and I avoided doing my homework until 2 AM. I got a B on it if you're curious.
Anyways, other things have happened. Like Macha's nudes on the beach getting released and the headline being that her life is going downhill. I actually laughed about that one. She's still a teenager, how can her life possibly be going downhill? Regardless, after the music videos were released, Macha went on twitter and said that she'll be spending a couple weeks in and out of rehab.
I'm not mad about that resolution because she clearly needs it, but I don't see Mark forcing Kasey to go to rehab for her alcohol abuse. No shade! I simply don't understand why it's a big deal if it's Macha but not Kasey. I feel like everything should be even between them and that both of them should be punished. Even if Kasey wasn't the one who passed out naked on the beach! If you think about it, with Kasey's obsession with being nude- that could have very easily been her.
Moving on cuz I'm getting frustrated- I absolutely can't stand that everyone keeps calling Shiloh and Taelyn names on Twitter just because they're dating each other. It's obvious that the messages are from fans who hate the other band, but still! Both bands are still making music, so what's the problem? They're honestly just jealous of their relationship. I mean, why do fans think it's okay to call Shiloh a "stupid whore" or to call Taelyn a "gross pedophile." Fans can be so stupid sometimes, goodness gracious.
If they like each other and enjoy each other's company, then what's the problem? Besides, Connor hasn't smashed this relationship into the ground so we all know that it is more than likely a real relationship.
Speaking of that Connor Volley, bassist of Firelight Moon, guy. I keep seeing pictures of him with ethnic looking women. Not assuming anything, but they all seem to be Middle Eastern and West Asian descent. I hate bringing it up, but it just makes me think that perhaps he may actually have feelings for Hayden. At first, I just thought that they were good friends and that they enjoyed each other's company, but now I'm thinking it may be more than that.
First, they were seen on a "date" on their way to the voice coach and now they're being seen at parks and at that one music festival. So... Either they've become really good friends in the past few weeks or they've realized their undying love for each other.
I don't know. Everything involving BI has gone zero to one hundred real quick. Even Macha's glow up. I mean- who knew she could get any hotter? I sure didn't but she used to be a queen. Now she's a god. Shiloh looking like a whole meal now too. Maybe it's just cuz I've never really seen her in tight sweats before. Either way, it's a whole look and I'm living for every bit of it.
I've gotta go now though because I've got even more homework to do. Yay! I'll update you guys later on anything else that happens! As I always do!
