~Chapter 20~

Genevieve's POV

I made him follow me up the stairs, to the hallway of my room. Where I opened the door so I could see if Landon was still sleeping.

"I want to talk to you." I whispered not low, but enough for him to hear me.

He nodded his head folding his arms leaning against the door way.

"I-I'm tired of this, I'm done running around with you. It's not me. You shouldn't be messing around I'm here on a job not to fuck around and hide with you. We ended shit for a reason."

He stayed quiet but probably furious for my cussing,"You ended it. Why did you come back then huh?!I was doing fine until you came back around."

I rolled my eyes at his behaviour he's  acting like if he's the victim again.

"Mike I love you with every fiber in me but I can't keep doing this to myself. You know damn well Diana is doing the same shit your doing with me, face it! You don't like having a taste of your own medicine.

"You don't know anything that your talking about if I knew you staying was a mistake. I should of left a fucking while ago when I had the chance. Sometimes I wish I never met you then I wouldn't have all this stress!"

I looked at him stunned "Oh so now where talking about regret huh? then I fucking regret loving you, I regret thinking you would change, I regret dating you, I regret saying yes to you, I regret all this shit but I do not regret Landon."

He looked down at his feet "You know I didn't mean him."

" I don't know what you fucking mean anymore, I'm done with your games I'm leaving." I said about to walk away.

He grabs my wrist pulling me towards him until I land against his chest " you can't go. " he whispers in my ear.

His warm breath against my ear sent shivers down my spine and clench my thighs,"I-I can and I will watch me."

" you don't want to leave me. I can tell my the way your clenching your legs together."

His words snap me out my lust state. I push his chest away from me.

" I love you and I need you."

"I do too but I can't with you. You need to love Diana not me ."

"Why can't you just leave her?" I say

"I gave her too much already and I  just can't leave her ."

"What did you give her?" I scoff.

"Well not really gave-but she's pregnant I can't just leave her after what happen between us I don't want to regret it. I know she's using me and I knew it from the start but I was so lonely I needed someone and now I dug a hole and I can't get out of it."

"Pregnant... what the hell!!"
I yell hitting his arm.

He rubs his arm and lets out a loud groan. He whispers lowly so Diana wouldn't hear us, "Genevieve I never wanted this to happen I'm sorry."

" Michael she's toxic for you like you are to me but you need to drop her it's hard. I know you can you need to."

"There's only way to fix this and I think I know how." I say
