~Chapter 16~

Genevieve's POV

I fixed Landon's collar since he's going to his Grandma Katherine's house for the first time ever.

I put him in his crib and started cleaning the mess he made of clothes where he scattered everywhere.

After the conversation with Michael yesterday he wasn't to keen with me going on a date with king. We argued the whole afternoon and I said " we aren't dating anymore and don't worry about me!" then he stomped off to his room.

I sighed heavily at the memory and fixed my cream colored jumpsuit that hung my curves perfectly.

It was already noon and hiding out in my room was mission complete but I knew sooner or later I have to face Michael to go go to his mothers house. I didn't come out yet because I thought he would still be mad.

I walked down the stairs to see Michael in the living room watching tv. He glanced at me then back at the TV ignoring me .

I sat next to him with Landon on my lap until he crawled off onto Michael making him ignore me and not Landon.

" we have to go to your moms house." I said

He nodded his head still playing with Landon.

" we have to get back early I have a date still." I said as I twirled my hair.

He continued to ignore me
" Michael!"

He glanced at me wide eyed because I yelled at him.

" Can you stop ignoring me!"

He grabbed my hand unexpectedly " I'm sorry Im over reacting lets just go to my mother's house and forget about this.

I nodded and ignored his bipolar behavior. He let me go and grabbed the keys before leaving.

We arrived to Michael's mother's house. I was nervous as hell, I haven't seen Katherine over than a year.

Michael grabbed my hand and assured me everything's gonna be alright.

He knocked on the door and I gasped at who opened it.

" Janet!" I yelled as we pulled each other in a tight embrace.

" I missed you! Michael told me what he did and I for sure beat his ass ." Janet said.

I laughed while Michael rolled his eyes and walked in.

" Is that who I think it is!" she yelled and took Landon from Michael; hugging him.

" Michael told me all about him since he met him and let me tell you something, he got his looks from his momma not his daddy." she said laughing.

I laughed and walked inside and noticed everything looked the same from the last time I was here

" well , well ,well if it ain't Genevieve Flor." Joe said walking towards me.

I smiled at him and hugged him, surprisingly he returned it . I guessed everyone found out about michael cheating and everyone felt bad for me .

I walked to the dining room where I saw the whole Jackson gang.

" look at Gene y'all she hella thick since she had her baby." Tito said.

" damn Mike how you cheat on her? Ima steal her away." Jackie said getting a glare from Michael.

" where the baby ?" Jermaine asked suddenly.

Latoya squealed and hugged me tightly " you gotten so pretty since the last time I saw you."

I smiled at her and thanked her before I was pulled into the kitchen .
