~Chapter 31~

Genevieve's POV

~2 days later~

I woke up to the sun shining in on my eyes. I moved away, squinting at the light. I sat up and I looked over at the left side of the bed seeing it empty.

Michael was gone and he promised we were going to spend our last day in Milan together.
The past two days went by like a breeze and today I was going to make the most of it.

I walk into the bathroom and I see orange pedals on the floor and a 'good morning beautiful' sign. I smile knowing it was Michael.

I got out the shower drying my hair and putting on a high waisted jean skirt with a black top with black Nike's.

I walked back into the room seeing Landon still asleep and I kiss his forehead as I call up the nanny.

I walked downstairs with my purse and I see the nanny smiling at me wide.

What the hell is going on today?
Everything seems too perfect.

I walked into the kitchen and see no one. Then I get get a text from Michael.

M- I'm on the balcony

I sighed having to walk over to the other side of the house. I saw the same orange flower petals on the floor leading over to the balcony where the doors were opened. The wind was blowing the white curtains and next to them was Michael.

"Hey good morning I was waiting for you to wake up." He said before kissing my lips.

I smiled,"you could of just woke me up."

He shook his head before mumbling," you'll need the energy for tonight.

I opened my mouth suprised but he smiled at me bringing me over to the table outside.

"I got a little bit of everything, last time I knew your favorite breakfast food was pancakes but I don't know if it's the same or what's your favorite now."

He pulled out the chair for me to sit and I sat,"it's biscuits and gravy now."

He smiled," perfect, we'll start with that now."

He looked over at the chef as he brung out our plates.

Damn this looks scrumptious. the chef pours me some orange juice.

"This looks really good Michael thank you."

He reached for my hand massaging it," no thank you for letting me do this."

I smiled, knowing if he'd ask me to do this months ago I would have said no before he said a word to me.

We ate our biscuits and gravy and our side of hasbrowns and reminisced of the last few days together.

"So what are your plans for tonight?" Michael asked me.

I shrugged my shoulder looking at the beach," I don't know probably wait around for mr. right." I joked

He rolled his eyes playfully," he's right here." He said. I smiled but then it got awkward with the marriage part.

"Anyways so today's plans are go out to the beach swim, you and me. I was thinking explore the beach cabin then we go home and rest. Then see Landon and then I'm leaving to get everything ready and then dinner and sleepover at the cabin.
