Napangiti ako sa sinabi ni Elayne at hinalikan sya sa noo "Fine, Daddy will buy strawberry ice cream" sabi ko
"Yehey! I love you, Daddy" she encircle her small arms in my nape and kiss my lips
"I love you, Daddy!" she said with a beautiful smile
I kiss her cheeks and caress her hair. Elayne grew up a very beautiful kid
"Daddy, let's go. Malelate na po ako sa school"
Tumayo na ako habang buhat sya at kinuha ko ang bag nya "Say goodbye to Lolo first" sabi ko
"Bye bye po, Lolo. I love you, I'll give you some cookies mamaya po"

"You too, son. Take care" sabi ni Dad
"Ikaw din po, Lolo. Matanda ka na po eh"

Napailing ako sa inasta ng anak ko at lumabas na ng bahay. Pinasok ko sya sa kotse at nilagyan sya ng seat belt
Sumakay ako sa driver's seat at binigay kay Yaya ang bag ni Elayne

"I saw Mommy's picture in your room. She's so beautiful, Daddy"
Napangiti ako sa sinabi ni Elayne "Yeah, your Mommy is really beautiful" but she's a liar. A beautiful liar
"Daddy, when will I meet her? I always dream of her with us, having a picnic in the park and eating together" Elayne said sadly
"You will meet her soon"

Napatingin ako sa cellphone ko at sinagot iyon

"Why are we here, Dad?" naiiritang tanong ko

Kinuha ko ang dalawang maleta nya at dumiretsyo sa parking lot

"Still California. I have to continue my studies here, naasikaso na namin lahat. By Monday, maybe I can go to work and my studies"

"Lucas, I still have to master my studies. You know, I want to be a Doctor" she said

"Matulog ka muna, iha. Baka pagod ka sa byahe" sabi ni Dad
"Tito, sanay na ako. Sa condo nalang"

Tumango ako at dumiretsyo sa kitchen "Good evening, Tito" bati ko kay Tito
"Mommy?"
Napalingon ako sa batang nasa tabi ni Ely. Those eyes

Binalingan ko ang babaeng halos lumuwa na ang dibdib sa sobrang baba ng neckline ng damit nya
Tinignan ko muli si Elayne at lumuhod para pantay kami "Hello, little girl" nakangiting bati ko sa kanya
"Daddy is right, you're really pretty Mommy" sabi nya at ngumiti
"Sorry, baby girl but I'm not your Mommy" sabi ko at umiling
