"Are you sure this isn't a part of it?" Duncan asked as he, his sister and the Baudelaires sat on the floor in the triplet's room, looking at the items that were in Count Olaf's suitcase.

"Duncan," Isadora said, "I'm sure that a razor is not exactly something an evil genius is going to get hold of three children's fortune," She told him.

Violet and Klaus sighed, sharing a look before the eldest of the two stared at the objects in contemplation.

Violet then took out her ribbon, tying her hair back and closing her eyes, making Klaus smile slightly.

Anyone who knew Violet well could tell she was thinking hard because her long hair would be tied up in a ribbon to keep it out of her eyes.

Her friends and brother watched her intently, getting slightly shocked when her eyes snapped open.

"They're not separate parts," She mumbled quietly.

"What?" The people surrounding her asked.

"They weren't supposed to be used separately," Violet clarified, "They were supposed to be used as a machine," She smiled, receiving them back.

"Gilbert!" Violet cried as she rushed into the boy's house, "Gilbert!"

"What's going on?" The boy in question asked, coming out of his bedroom, drying his wet hair with a towel.

"We got him," The Baudelaire breathed out, "Count Olaf, we've got something on him," She smiled.

Gilbert smiled, hugging her excitedly.

"I'm glad," The Blythe boy told her honestly.

"Me too," Violet smiled back.

The two looked into each other's eyes before they both found themselves leaning in, their smiles looming on their faces.
