A day off with the boys// part 8

*3 weeks later*

'Oh my gosh! This work is exhausting!' The boys and I are on the way to the surprise I have planned. 'Amber? Why don't you just tell us?', Jonah asks. I laugh: 'I am not gonna tell you. but I can give you a hint?' Corbyn immediately looks up from his phone: 'Shoot! Tell us!' I look at them, I don't want to make the hint to easy. 'Speed and cold, that is all I am gonna say.' They look at me and all say, at the SAME time: 'Can't you give us some more?' I laugh and say no. Zach is begging: 'Please! I don't like surprises!' it goes like this the whole ride. Before we arrive I give the hint once again: 'Speed and cold guys. Look around and tell me if you think you know it.' 

Daniel asks me if it is iceskating. I say that he is very close. Jonah is looking at posters which are hanging right in front of him: 'Amber, is it called icekarting?' I look at him and smile: 'Ever heard of that?' And to my surprise, they all shake their head. 'Never?' Jack smiles: 'Nope. It sounds fun though!' I take them inside and go to the desk. I tell the guy I reservated the lounge for today and he leads us to it.

'Amber? Are you sure you are gonna like this?', Jack asks. Corbyn smiles: 'We can make a competition of it, I bet you are gonna loose Amber!' I look them in the eyes, first Jack, then Corbyn: 'Just because I am a sweet girl does not mean I like some adventure in my life.' They look at me, shocked. Jonah says out loud what they are trying to say with their eyes: 'So, there is a big chance you are gonna win. Have you done this before?' Zach is looking at the karts and wonders how it'll be on the ice. He slips and we hear him saying 'aaw'. 'No, not on ice, just on normal ground. Now, what does the winner get?'

Daniel shouts: 'A kiss from Amber!' and then we all ask: 'What if she is the winner?' Jonah has a wonderful idea: 'Free Limelight ticket?' Everyone agrees and we all get ready for the start.

This is so fun. The ice makes it really difficult to make turns, but still. It looks like Corbyn has done this before or something because he is in first place. I am in second place and Zach is right behind me. Jack had to stop due to his kart. Jonah and Daniel are far behind us while Zach almost got me off the track. Zach and I left Corbyn behind us in the final round. He is riding on my left side and we still need 200 mtrs. I see Jack going totally crazy and hear him yelling 'Go Zach! You can do it!' 50 mtrs and we get over the finish together. Jack is way to enthusiast and shouts: 'Photo!' while I get out of my kart. Jonah, Daniel and Corbyn finish and we all laugh as Zach trips again. We go back to the lounge where we get hot chocolate and whipped cream. Except for Daniel, who gets a tea. the guy from earlier today walks in with a paper: 'I have to say it was very close but, the boy won.' They all shout: 'Well done Zach! Well done!' Zach walks up to me and smirks: 'I guess I get the kiss then?' I smile: 'Jup', and give him a kiss on the cheek. Tender and soft. 

'Okay lets go!', Jack shouts, 'Amber has to be home at six!' Everyone laughs. 'Alright then, but you ruined a very romantic scene', Daniel says with a smirk. Zach reaches for my hand but I walk away. I feel his eyes in my back and I feel already sorry. But, the bitch as I am, too proud to admit, walks further without looking back. I close my eyes as soon as we are on the bus. I am so so tired.

A/N: ahaha. okay this is like. a very long chapter. but yeah, lets say that i really loved writing this part. any idea why Amber freaking walked away? the bish. i hope you guys like it.
