I'm at the boys' house right now. I asked if they were down for a party at "my house" and they were. "HanHan! When are we leaving?", Zach yells when I walk in. "As soon as my mom texts me", I lie. Amber has to tell me when she is ready or not. "I'm curious, I wanna see where you live", Daniel winks. None of them have actually seen my house. Amber and Al tried to stay at home as much as they could. It worked, the boys still don't know they live here now. I receive Amber's message:
I smile: "okay, guys! We can go! Are you all ready?" Suddenly, Zach disappears and Jonah chuckles: "He remembered he didn't do his hair."
We all crack up laughing and I shout: "Zach Your hair looks fine!"
He yells back from the bathroom: "No. No it doesn't!" Jack is tearing up: "That'll take another 30 minutes."I sigh and text the update to Amber. Corbyn gets some water and when he gets back, he asks me the question I have seen coming:
"How is Amber? She keeps telling us she is busy and doesn't FaceTime us anymore." Jonah adds: "She even left me on 'read' multiple times... She never does that." I keep a straight face as I answer: "She is busy with school, she doesn't call me anymore and I know texts won't pop up either. But she misses all of you... She told me to tell you all that she loves you."
They smile. "Thank God! I thought she was mad!", Jonah sighs. I shake my head and smile. Why would he think that? I think. "Zach! Hurry up! I am sure your hair looks great by now!", Daniel shouts. After 15 long minutes, Zach finally walks in. "15 minutes. New record", Jack chuckles. Zach blushes and mumbles a sort of "shut up"
I must say... He really looks good. Also cute, especially when he blushes.
We get in the car and I text Amber one last thing before we start driving. Jack is sitting in the passenger seat next to me. Jonah's head pops in between our seats and asks for the AUX cord. Corbyn yells "No!" as I hand it over. "Time to listen to 8 letters!", Jonah smirks, focusing on his phone. Jack giggles: "Corby can't control his emotions while listening to it. Can you, Corby?" Corbyn's respond is a smack on Jack's head. "Auech! That hurt!", Jack exclaims. Jonah casually ignores the whole situation and chooses Hard. We sing along with it.
Zach snatches Jonah's phone and puts on "Talk". I turn up the volume and the vibe is amazing. We arrive at the location with Hooked blasting through the speakers. The boys stare at the house in front of them and gasp. The light breeze touches my cheeks and I see Jonah. "I already love this place more than I love the beach", he says. I smile. Zach gets to the door first and rings the bell. I'm glad he did that because now Amber and Al know we arrived here. Daniel laughs: "Zach... Nobody's home." I open the door.
"Welcome to the party house"
