I shook hands with death
A transaction warm, yet
Frozen were the fingertips that lingered much after I met death that day. 

Death told me much of the sun, how his heart was soon broken into one, born from two, it's origin soon to have three, but yet only half still remains.

When ellipsism filled him soon after
Death cried out upon the sea.

"YOU'RE THE REASON SHE'S GONE", Death cried "SHE LIVED NOT ONE DAY IN VAIN, AND YOU STOLE HER. YOU TOOK HER FROM ME!"

"My everything, my only, she's gone"

The sun had died that day, when we shook hands, slowly sinking past the sea, the waves were rough that day, and the ocean swallowed her whole.

Death itself died that day, the light, his love, had left, stolen by the sea.

I found death lost in such despair,
A melody was heard
I made a deal with saddened death
And on it we shook hands

I'd search the sea, and find his love
And he'd returned to me
My mother who I lost while young
To demons sent by death

I searched the sea, for hours, above and underneath

I couldn't find deaths only Love,
The sun to me had vanished

I looked much deeper underneath
I was sure she would be there
But all I found was death

He greeted me with frozen hands
And soon my mother found
