Deep within these wretched walls
A sleepless life we meet
Our heart, our soul is paralyzed
until the one we search of
Frees us from our leash

Bold is the tone
With which we must convey
In this

Sleepless

Motionless

Depth
That we must call our own
The spirit that we seek
Mustn't show itself to us
For it knows that we will beg
It knows that we will plea
To free us from our leash

In sleep she only comes to us
But sleep we cannot do
Fear keeps us wide awake
And paranoia plays its part too

Eventually we close our eyes
For sleep to overcome
The spirit that must free us
Shows up to break the bonds

But someone makes the mistake

And soon they begin to awake

And catch a small glimpse

Of the spirit forbidden from sight

For if you see her silhouette
Her name You soon shall know
From the headpiece that she wears
A flower in her hair

Once you know her name
No longer can she help
She leaves you chained
She has done all that she can

And once her name slips off your lips
No more can she exist
