Don't let those pretty
Sewn on
Patchwork faces
Fool you
A killers glare they hide
They'll steal your soul
You flesh and blood
Everything
But leave your pretty eyes
Don't believe me?
I wouldn't either
In fact
I didn't at first
Not once did I think for a moment
That a childhood toy
Could be capable of such things
That an inanimate
Piece of tightly woven yarn
Could cause such
Damage
But please
I beg of you
Please
Believe me
It will come
When you least expect it
It will come
Cause such destruction
And you won't even see it coming
But don't ask me
Ask my father
Or rather
Ask his eyes
For that's all that still exist
Along with a
Tiny,
String,
Of yarn
Sock puppets killed my father
So throw them out
Lock your doors
And your windows
And whatever you do
When you sleep at night
Don't open your eyes
Until the morning light
Because that's when they strike
That's when they win
They always win
When a sock puppet decides
It's your time
You better be ready to run
Because there is nothing else you can do
No where else you can go
When a sock puppet finds you
Pray you keep your eyes shut
Or else, that is all you shall keep
A/N what did you think of this poem, it's different, and more of an experiment, in still not sure how I feel about it, but I'm posting it anyway, so give me your feedback.
