the saddest overcomplications

rip my body apart i promise you,

you won't find anything worth holding on to.

tear through  my chest

and hold my heart
until it breaks your hands;

until it spills all of the worlds cliches

into the cracks of your wooden floorboards
that we once breathed the stallions into.

see your color poured into my veins,

smell the scent of dark chocolate
that you once reeked of.

file through my notebooks
and find out

that you look like wild blueberries

and learn that  narcissism
and loving yourself
are two very different things.
