Hayes POV-

Do you want to come in for dinner? I ask Antonia.

I would love to. she says.

We walk inside and my mom is making some food.

Smells good. I say.

Mhm your mom must be an amazing cook. Antonia says.

We walk into the kitchen to see my mom.

Hey mom this is Antonia. I say

Oh hey. You have a beautiful name. My mom says.

Thank you Mrs. Grier. Antonia says.

Oh call me Elizabeth. My mom says.

Ok. Antonia says.

Is she staying for dinner? My mom asks.

Oh yeah sweetie. I would love to get to know the girl your crushing on. She says loud.

I hear Antonia giggle behind me.

Let's go to my room. I say.

She nods.

We pass Nash, Cameron, Carter, and Shawn's room.

We hear them talking about Antonia.

Antonia stops and listens.

Why does she like hayes. We're better for her then hayes is. Cameron says.

Do you think he told her what happened with him last girlfriend? Carter adds.

Nah, she wouldn't be with him right now if she knew. nash said.

What are they talking about. she says kinda loud. loud enough for the guys to walk out and see us.

Antonia not right now. I say.

Hayes I want to know. She says.

Come with me Antonia. I say reaching to grab her hand. She moves back.

I stayed quiet.

If you won't tell me then they will.

And when she said that she pushed them into the room and closed it and locked it with her In there.

I screwed up. I think to myself.

What if they lie and say something worse then what actually happened??
