The Battle is Lost

Eren was shoved into the police car. Lily was restrained by the backup that was there and Maxwell with his arms crossed against his chest, his smirk on his face. The girl had tears streaming down her face. She would never have imagined her world coming to this, now being a witness to a crime her lover never commited.

"He's innocent! I swear!" She yelled out, trying to break away from the grips of the policemen. "Maxwell is lying! He's lying!" She yelled out. She hated watching this.
"Oh darling~;" Maxwell said in a 'concerning' voice. "I'll hold her as she watches him leave." He added. Her eyes glaring at him. The men let her go as Maxwell made his way over. Lily froze for a moment but then sprinted to the police car. Maxwell quickly stopped her and grabbed her, dragging her back and holding her in a hug. Lily's eyes were filled with tears of fear. Eren looked at Lily, plead in his eyes. The car door slammed shut and a harsh tap on the back from a policeman sent the car off.

"EREN!" Lily yelled in pain, tears running down her face faster. Maxwell just shushed her and rubbed her back. His evil smirk hidden in her messy hair. "You monster... You monster..." She muttered to him.

"Why would you say that to the love of your life?" He muttered back evilly. He then pulled her back but kept his tight grip on her by her wrist. Lily tried to pull away but her tears making things harder to see. Maxwell chuckled darkly. "Don't pull away from me love~ It just makes you want me more~" He muttered to her with his sinister voice. Lily just screamed and caused the other circus folks to come around. Lily looked at them, fear in her eyes. They wanted to save her but before they could do anything, Maxwell pulled a gun out. "Take one step closer and you will get your brains blown out of your damn head!" He yelled in anger. Lily just let her tears keep running. She felt trapped. Her world once again stuck in that dollhouse she oh so hated with a passion. She reached for the gun and tried to take it away. Maxwell quickly pulled it away from her. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING YOU BITCH!" He yelled out to her. He then pushed her out of his arms and aimed the gun at her. "DON'T EVER DO THAT AGAIN OR I CAN MAKE YOUR DEATH LOOK LIKE A SUICIDE!" He threatened her. Lily just kept her head down and nodded. She had nothing to hold onto now. Nobody to keep her safe.

"I-I... I'm sorry my love...I just thought..."

"Thought what? You could leave me? You can never escape me. I am everywhere and the one person who knows this life you live besides that piece of rotting meat." Maxwell stated. Mika looked around her brother and realized who Maxwell was talking about.

"You... you son of A BITCH!" She yelled and began to make her way over, her blonde male friend grabbing her arms and holding her back.
"He's not worth it!" Her friend said. Maxwell smirked.
"Listen to your friend. He clearly is the only with brains as big as mine here;" Maxwell said with a smirk. The friend frowning. Maxwell then looked at Lily, putting his gun away. "Come on dear~ let's take you home." He ordered her. Lily nodded and looked at the others, their eyes back at her. She slowly made her way back to him. His smirk on his face.

"Lily... You can stand up for yourself. Eren would want you to do that." Mika said to Lily.
"But Eren is not here anymore now is he?" Maxwell asked and looked at Lily. "Come now love~" He purred to her. Lily eventually looked at Maxwell who not even a split second after finishing her walk slapped her. "That is for not obeying me and heaving my threat;" Maxwell explained. "Now come along my pet~ It is time to go home." He ordered.
"Yes my love..." Lily said and the two began their walk to his car. Lily looking back but terrified to wave goodbye to her new old friends. Tears running down her face. Maxwell looked at her.
"You are such an emotional person Lily. Wipe those damn tears away;" He ordered. Lily of course scared of getting hit again wiped them away. Her makeup was now gone or smeared due to the tears and sweat she had from the past few minutes that felt like an eternity of hell. The two approached the car and got in. "Now my dear. Let's get you home." He said and began to drive away with her. Lily looked in the side mirrors of the car and looked at the circus, the members at the front and waving goodbye. None with a smile on their face for they knew that hell was real and Maxwell came from there.

Soon the two arrived at the dollhouse. Maxwell put the breaks off and turned the car off. Lily had her head down and her makeup was at this point off. She had changed into her normal clothes for which she kept in his car in case if the two were to do 'It' in his car or just anywhere in public. Maxwell looked over at her.
"Do not be upset my love. I promise you that your father won't hurt you ok?" Maxwell promised. Lily looked up at him, nodding slightly. Maxwell placed a hand onto her cheek and smiled erriely. "I love you so much;" He said and kissed her gently. Lily had no choice but to kiss back. It felt like torture to her. For Maxwell, it felt like the times before this mess happened. He got what he wanted like he always did. Soon he pulled away and smirked at her. "I can't wait to touch you at our honeymoon~" He whispered into her ear, causing Lily to gasp slightly, coming across to him as a moan. His smirk on his face from the sound and pulled away. "Keep the dress in here. I'm going to burn it once I get home." He ordered to her and got out of the car. Lily nodded and waited for him to open her door and which he did. She looked at her house and for a split second wished she could run away but no. She was forever trapped in that house. That dollhouse.
