Lily's father answered the door as always. He saw the red in his daughter's eyes and automatically looked at Maxwell for answers. Maxwell already knew that face and explained to her father that Lily had found out one of her friends had spread a rumor about her and it ruined the poor bride-to-be. Lily of course, scared of what would happen if her father found out about her sneaking off for almost a week or more to be with the man she truly loved had agreed this was why. The father sighed and hugged his daughter. This threw her back quickly but she hugged him back gently.

"Thank you Maxwell for getting Lily out of that and keeping an eye on her. I although do not remember her leaving the house." Her father questioned and pulled away from his child, looking at her with confused eyes.
"You were asleep father, I thought I left a note out for you once you woke up." Lily lied quickly. Maxwell nodded.

"She told me Mr. Sakura." Maxwell tossed in. Of course by that point, her father agreed to the lie. He nodded and pushed his daughter inside.
"Thank you for telling me. I hope to see you this weekend." Her father finished. Maxwell nodded and left for his car, waving goodbye. Lily waved weakly at him and watched his car leave. She was about to hide away in her room like a princess stuck in a tower, only to wait for her supposive prince charming to save her but instead of that, the phone rang. Lily's mother quickly went over and picked it up.

"Oh Lily! There is a boy on the other line! He says he wants to talk to you about something important." Her mother explained. Lily was hoping it was her lion tamer. Oh how she already yearned for his warm chest and emerald green eyes. Hell, she never truly loved the color green if it wasn't her tea until she had met Eren. She quickly went over and took the receiving part of the phone and pressed her ear to it.
"Hello?" She called out to it gently.
"Lily...;" Eren sighed out in relief. Lily sighed too and looked at her parents. She covered the microphone part of the phone and told her parents it was a private girl thing. The two nodded and her father looked at the time, realizing it was time for him to head to his half work day. The two parents left to prepare for him and Lily went back to her phone. "Oh thank god you're alright." He said, relief in his voice. Lily nodded.
"Did they hurt you? Where are you?" She asked. She had thousands of more questions for him but remembered from the shows on her television that their time was limited.

"I'm ok. A little bit bruised but living. I'm at the town jail. I'm supposed to go to court for putting you in danger and threatening you with death." He explained. Lily was thrown back.
"But it's all a lie! I know it is." She declared to him and sighed. The water works were already on their way back. Eren heard her and frowned.

"I know but we will fix this ok?" He comforted her. Lily took a deep breath and nodded.

"Ok. I'm scared Eren. What if you get sent to jail? What if they hurt you to where you have to have guards around you?" She asked. Lily didn't want to think this but she had no choice. "What if Maxwell has men in there and they... they kill you? I-I cannot imagine my life without you since you already put yourself in my life." She rambled, already crying again. Eren could hear her cry and frowned. He wished he could hold her and kiss her head. Her in his arms was all he wanted more than anything.

"I'll be ok. You can come here every day and talk to me for a while ok? I don't want you to think because this happened means that we still can't see each other." He reminded her, a bittersweet smile on his face. Lily wiped her tears and smiled sadly.
"Ok... Eren... They moved the wedding to this weekend. I-I cannot marry him Eren. I just can't do it." She whispered shakily. She then heard in the background that Eren had 30 seconds left to talk to her. He sighed and looked at the ground, the phone in his hand.
"I'm so sorry Lily. Come and see me tonight or tomorrow ok? I love you so much ok? You this and I will always be in your heart." He reminded her.

"I love you too. So much.." She answered and wiped her tears.
"I have a present for you when you get back here ok?" He asked her. Lily smiled.
"I'll be there soon... goodbye my love." She said bitterly.

"Goodbye my flower." He said. The next sound was a long beep. Lily sighed and put the phone back up and rubbed her shoulders. She just wanted him to hold her close. To wake up from this hellish dream and find herself next to him, a blanket covering her and his shaggy hair in front of his eyes ever so slightly. She left for her room and decided to freshen up. She had to look good for Eren.

Once her father had left, she called for a taxi to take her to the jail and waited. Ever second to her was more painful than the last. Eventually the taxi arrived and time unfroze for the poor girl. She quickly left a note for her father in case her father would beat her home and got into the taxi. Soon the town was in front of her, the sun shined to west just barely touching the skyscrapers.

"I'm on my way Eren. Just wait a bit longer." She spoke quietly.

Once she arrived at the jail, she spoke to the visitation person and signed a paper before waiting by a large room filled with windows and phones for the other side. She saw Eren and felt her heart jump. She quickly went over and sat down. The two smiling at each other and taking the phone.

"I missed you." Lily said with relief in her voice. Eren had slight bruises on his cheek and forehead. She wished she could touch them.

"I missed you more." Eren said back to her. He wished he could go touch her gentle hand. Lily smiled gently.

"What is the present you told me about?" She asked with a soft smile. Eren nodded and looked at the guard near him and told him to pull her present out. Somehow there it was, a small box with a gentle pink bow, the color of her lips. Eren slipped it into the tray and sent it over to her. Lily picked it up and untied the bow and carefully opened the box. There inside was a gold necklace with a thin heart shape behind two rings. One that was a plain gold ring and the other a diamond ring. "Oh Eren... this is beautiful." Lily complimented. She then slipped it on and sure enough, the two were happy.

"It costed over $1000 but I just couldn't let you think that I didn't love you enough. Plus so when I get out of here, I'm getting us a car with the money I have saved and getting us out of here. We'll move to a new town, change our names if we have to and we'll get married. Have two beautiful children. I'll get a job and make sure we live a comfy life ok?" He explained. Lily just had a small smile and nodded.

"I just want to touch your hand." She answered. She loved him and the idea. She dreamed for that type of life as a kid. This was her chance but now her fiancé had to send the one guy she ever truly loved off. Eren sighed and nodded. The two pressed their hands against the window and looked at each other.

"I promise I'll get you out of here. I will do what I can." She explained to him. Eren smiling.

"That's why I love you so much;" He answered her. "I swear if this mirror wasn't in the way, I would kiss you." He commented, causing Lily to giggle and nodded.

"I would love that." She answered. Once again the guard told Eren that his time was almost up. The two sighed and put their hands down.

"I love you. More than anything I have ever loved." Eren reminded her.

"I love you too. So much that once I leave, I'll miss you." She added.

"You're my sun and my moon Lily Sakura. I'll look at the moon and think of you." He said and saw the guard come over. "The brightest star is ours ok?"

"Ok. Keep your eyes on it and we'll see each other." Lily said and felt a tap on her shoulder. She was told to leave. She nodded and got up.

"Goodbye..." Eren as his final word.

"Goodbye..." Lily answered and hung up. She left and looked down at her necklace. She smiled at it and got back into her taxi and went home. The sun at this point was almost done saying goodbye to the town and the gentle moon was saying hello. "Day 1..."
