The morning came up eventually, shining in a new day. The sun always shining on Lily like a sleeping princess and waking her up gently. Once she did, she sat up and stretched her upper body. She looked outside from her bed and there it was, the newspaper on the front walkway and the milk van coming by at this moment. She was about to go down to eat but she remembered she had to be called down. She began to dress herself and do her hair, curling it carefully to perfection. Once she finished, she heard her mother call her down for breakfast. Lily quickly went down and walked into the kitchen. She saw her father now with his usual mug of joe and the newspaper in his hand. Her mother finishing up the meal and placing the food on plates. Lily sat down in her usual chair and looked at her mom with a soft smile. A bowl of cheerios sat in front of her with a plate of eggs, toast, and bacon next to her. Her mother came over to her daughter and poured some milk into her daughter's cereal. Lily kissed her mother's cheek while her mother was doing that and began to eat her breakfast. The mealtime was quiet like usual as her father just sipped his joe and read his paper. Her mother eating and admiring the magazines next to her. Lily just ignored her parents and continued to eat her meal. Once she finished, she got up and cleaned up after herself. When she was almost done, the phone rang which perked Lily's ears and eyes. Her father groaned and put the paper down, getting up and heading to the phone. Lily looked at her mother with fear in her eyes only to find her mother looking back at her with the same look. The father sighs but only saying 'alright' and hanging up. He then walks back into the kitchen and looked at Lily.

"You have to go to the police station for interviewing on the incident yesterday;" He simply said to his daughter. Lily nodded and rubbed her arms. "Just tell them what you told me and you'll be alright. Mr. Highland and I will find a lawyer for you." He added as he grabbed his mug and coffee. Lily looked at her mom and sighed.

"It will be alright. This will all be over soon;" Her mother said and got up. "Go get some shoes on. I'll call you a taxi so your father will not be late." She said to her daughter and rubbed Lily's arms as reinsurance. The girl just nodded and smiled at her mom, pulling away and heading to her room and picking out some shoes. Once she arrived back down, her mother hung up the phone and nodded at her daughter. The two smiled gently and sat in the living room, waiting for the taxi to arrive.

"Mom... Thanks for telling me that type of stuff last night. I am so glad I am not alone with that..." She confessed weakly, scared of her father walking in. Her mother smiled sadly and nodded. Before the two could hug, Lily's father came in with an undone tie.

"Sweetheart. Do my tie please." He said in a booming voice, instantly regretting it. His wife coming over and doing it as he rubbed his head.

"Done." She said with a soft smile. The husband nodded and kissed his wife quickly before grabbing his coat and hat.

"I'll see you both at dinner." He said and walked out, getting into his car and driving off to work. Not even a second later, the taxi arrived and Lily looked out.

"Stay safe ok?" Her mother asked her daughter carefully. Lily nodded and kissed her mother's cheek.

"I'm gonna visit Eren afterwards quickly ok?" She asked her mom carefully. Her mother nodded and looked at her daughter. "What?"

"You have a very beautiful necklace." Her mother responded. Lily was confused for a moment and looked down, seeing it was still around her neck.

"Oh. Thanks Mom." She said and looked back at her and went off to the taxi, getting in and giving them the directions to the station.

The building was quite large and not as loud as it could have been. Lily looked around carefully and found the receptionist behind their desk.

"Uh. I'm here to get interrogated." Lily said to them. The person looking up and pointing to the left, a long hallway there. Lily nodded and walked that way, rubbing her arms in fear and how cold it was. She soon saw a policeman who was waiting outside one of the rooms and opened the door for her. She nodded as a thank you and walked in, sitting in the chair behind the table and looked around. The slam of the door made her jump and shudder slightly. It was colder in here than seconds before in the hallway. Lily just kept looking around in case they some voice recorder for what was going down. After what felt like an eternity, the door opened to show another policeman. He was a bit muscular but he wasn't to the point where any of the buttons on his shirt would pop off at any moment. His hair was nearly perfect except for this one strand that stood up from the rest of his gelled hair. His outfit was nicely pressed and could show no sign of wrinkles. In his arms was a notepad and pencil, ready to write things down. Lily had looked at him and frowned. The man sat down in the chair across from her and waited for the door to close to begin the interrogation.
