The people sat down, listening to Eren confess everything that lead up to his arrest. Every once in a while, he would look at the jury who looked as emotional as a piece of stone. Not long after Eren finished, Muller confessed the abuse from Maxwell and Lily's father. There were times where the crowd and jury would gasp at the revealed truths that laid hidden for years. Even Lily's own best friend confirmed everything the previous two people have said. Maxwell glared and Lily and pulled her close, whispering into her ear,
"If you decide to back him up, I will end you." The threat made Lily's heart race in fear. The idea of losing Rosie due to Maxwell's large sum of inherited money and her father disgracing her for the rest of his life scared her. But if she kept Maxwell's lie up, Eren could die and she would be stuck in a life she never wanted. Her white knight would forever be gone and the dragon keeping her in would forever lock her inside her tower.
