The next morning started as usual. The sun waking her up, the milkman arriving at his usual time and the newspaper boy throwing the paper and going off. Lily looked out the window and took in the sunshine. She soon decided to open the window and take a deep breath of the air. It felt crisp and clean to her, different from the stuffy and warm air her house had. She felt like a princess with this, waiting for her knight in shining armor to arrive and slay the dragon that kept her from leaving. The only problem was, the knight was locked away by a prince in a far off kingdom and that prince was disguised as a monster only she and the knight could see. Her daydream was cut short when she heard the sound of the front door close.

"Why is it not bad luck to see the bride before she is on the aisle?" Her father said, meaning Maxwell was there. Lily's eyes widened and she closed the window, quickly dressing herself appropriately. Right as she was in the middle of doing her hair, there was a knock on the door.

"Who is it?" She called out as she began to rush her hair.

"It is your future husband!" Maxwell called out. Lily sighed silently and got up, opening the door but not looking at him.

"You are not supposed to see your bride before she is in the aisle!" She said. Maxwell chuckled but put out a box through the wide creak of the door.

"I know but my mother insisted I come and have you borrow her veil and tiara when she married." He explained. Lily took the box and looked inside. It looked so clean and new, like time froze the moment she bought it.

"Thank you... I will see you soon alright?" She said gently. Maxwell nodded and closed the door behind him. Lily walked over to her bed and touched it gently, afraid it would break under any amount of pressure. The sound of Maxwell's car driving off played and soon the call for breakfast was declared. Lily placed the box down and went downstairs to the dining room, looking at it as the last time before she was gone. Her mother already had set her daughter's meal up and was getting her husband's plate done. Her father had the paper in his hands and his mug of joe besides him. Lily sat down and the family began to eat as a whole for the last time.

"So what did Maxwell give you?" Her father asked as he finished his meal fairly quickly. Lily looked up and put her food down, cleaning around her mouth with a napkin.

"It was his mother's wedding tiara and veil." She answered with a smile.

"Does it look good with your dress?" He asked. Lily shrugged.

"I haven't seen it yet with my dress. Have you seen it yet?" She sounded excited to ask him about it. Considering it was her last day in this part of her hell, she felt like she was going to be freed even for a little while.

"Not yet. Where is it?" He asked, grabbing his mug and taking a sip. Somehow he managed to keep eye contact with his daughter as he sipped.

"It's in mother's closet. I did not want to trust myself with a dress as beautiful as that." She explained and kept her smile. Her father nodded and put his mug down.

"I will see you with it soon. Right now finish eating and get ready. Dorothy's father called this morning and told me he was going to take you and Dorothy to the chapel;" He explained. Lily nodded and mentally sighed. The plan was going to work. "It's going to be difficult considering it would be easier for you to wear your dress in the car." He added. Lily felt her heart drop. Eren was going to see her in a wedding dress. A dress she picked for the man she didn't even love.

"I will figure a plan out."

Lily paced her room, waiting for her mother to come in and help her with the plan and finish dressing. She had her hair up in a nice bun while a bit of her side abngs were down and curled gently. She was half dressed which was considered scandalous or whoreish depending on who you were. The door knocked gently and Lily called the person in. It was her mother which caused a sigh of relief. Her mother came in with a small box in her hand.
