Eighteen

[Third Person]

Namjoon exited through his door, he saw Jin descending the stairs and heading towards the front door.

As Jin walked towards the car, Namjoon came up from behind Jin and hugged him tightly.

He cried in Jin's back, "Jin please, this time I promise I'll-"

Jin forcefully took Namjoon's arms off of his waist.

"I already gave you a chance, that was your chance to prove yourself... we just need time apart from each other. Going back and forth saying we love one another doesn't always end in a happy ending, especially with us. So just live your life as you always did... without me being in it."

Jin entered the car, he closed the door firmly and told the chauffeur looked ahead.

Namjoon tearfully watched the car drive away, he knew that could have been the last time he ever spoke to Jin.

"I just want to hug him one more time... and tell him I'm truly sorry for all of the things I did..."

The end

I'm just kidding 💀

[A few months later]

Namjoon and Jin continued to carry on with their lives... only this time alone without one another.

Namjoon continued to become more and more successful with his company and was traveling everywhere to make more business.

Jin on the other hand, got famous himself for his dishes that he created in Jeon's. He became a world known chef just like Jungkook himself.

Taehyung continued to work in the office building, just being quite lonesome without his dear friend.

Hoseok on the other hand, decided to leave his company and continue doing something else in the world. He decided since Namjoon didn't want him, he should stop pretending to actually enjoy living a life as a CEO, and do something he loved instead.

As for Namjoon and Jin meeting up again...

[Third Person]

Namjoon keep eyeing his phone, "It's been a while since me and Jin have talked... I even heard from Mr. Park that Jin works at Jeon's as the sous chef, and the news confirmed it as well."

Namjoon sighed, "Should I go?"

He hit his head on back of his chair, "It would be so awkward, I won't go..."

He picked up his pen and started back on his work, but he keep thinking of Jin.

"Ahh fuck it."

Namjoon leaped out of his chair and grabbed his coat and keys.

Namjoon arrived at Jeon's and looked through the window, "Haven't been here in a long time..."

He entered Jeon's and a waitress greeted him, "Hello, welcome to Jeon's."

Namjoon smiled and saw Jin leave the kitchen and enter the dining room.

His eyes grew huge and he walked back out, leaving the waitress confused.

"Ok...?"

Namjoon crouched down to the floor, "I came all this way only to hide away from Jin?!"

Namjoon peaked up to look through the window, he didn't see Jin, but he only heard people talk about him.

"What's up with him?"

"Mom look!"

"Don't look hunny, see this is why you don't do drugs or you'll end up like him."

Namjoon sighed and stood up, he entered through the door and walked past the waitress.

"Hello again sir- Excuse me! You can't just, ugh forget it... Am I having deja vu?"

Namjoon looked around and saw if Jin was near, he spotted him going back in the kitchen.

Namjoon quickly walked over to him, but halted.

What if he thinks I'm being to clingy and rushing into this...

He stayed back and went back to the waitress, "I'm sorry about my actions early..." He bowed down, "I'll be leaving now."

"Namjoon?"

Namjoon heard a familiar voice call his name, he turned around and saw Jin standing there.

Namjoon's heart pounded in his chest, he couldn't believe after all the months that passed... Jin would be the one to approach him first.

"Hey... Jin."

Jin turned around and said something while taking off his apron, he turned back around and grabbed Namjoon's hand.

"Come on."

Jin and Namjoon arrived at the park, and they sat down on the nearest bench there was.

"So... how have you been?"

Namjoon nodded, "Pretty good, I've heard you gotten more famous being at Jeon's. That's good since you always wanted to be something in the culinary arts, instead of office work."

Jin smiled brightly, "I know, I'm so happy and honored to be working along side Jungkook. It's just been an amazing experience honeslty, I'm happy to be living the life I am. Even though something seems to be missing..."

Jin looked at Namjoon, "Since we took this time apart, I realized you apologized so many times for what you done and I never have. I've been so rude and awful to you, and you still wanted to go out with me after all of that. I'm sorry for hurting you, and I should just put all of the things you did in the past... you were in financial problems then and you did it for your family. I still hate my father, but I don't hate you anymore... I do forgive you even after all of this, I'm so sorry."

Namjoon turned to Jin, "You actually are forgiving me? Wow I never thought you would... I would have never done it..."

Namjoon teared up, he looked up.

"Oh gosh, I haven't cried in a while... all the emotion is coming to me."

Jin gave Namjoon a sympathetic smile, and he hugged him.

"It's finally my turn to be the one apologizing, and also my turn to ask... Namjoon I want to go back out with you, but if-"

Namjoon caught Jin off guard, and kissed him passionately.

"Yes, Jin. I would love to..."

Namjoon and Jin shared a smile together, and hugged each other again.
