The bandage around Yeri's ankle looked way too tight for Jungkook's liking but the doctor said it just needed to support the bones, other than that there would be nothing too serious. They thanked the doctor and waited until he left before Jungkook leaned down and inspected Yeri's ankle. The girl rolled her eyes and climbed off the bed, "It's nothing serious. It doesn't even hurt so stop pretending to care."

"I'm not pretending. I am seriously worried. About my fucking job." He added with a smirk. "You are so stupid," Yeri mumbled and stood up, attempting to leave but the sharp pain in her ankle stroked her once again, making her stumble back on the bed. Jungkook was quick to react this time and caught her by the shoulder. "Stop acting like a diva and just listen to me once." He sighed and pulled the wheelchair closer. "Sit here. I already called a taxi. You should rather think about an excuse you are going to tell your father if it doesn't heal until he is back."

Yeri's eyes widened, "What?! Why me? This is your fault!" She whined and Jungkook shook his head, crossing his arms in front of his broad chest. "Yeah, totally. It was me who decided to run away and be sassy. I grabbed your foot and twisted it myself, right?" Yeri blushed, caught in her lie. "Fine," she mumbled inaudibly before she sat down in the wheelchair with Jungkook's help.

They reached the taxi and Jungkook sneaked one arm under Yeri's leg, the other behind her back, effortlessly picking her up before he carried her to the taxi. Yeri was impressed at his strength but tried not to show it, just because she didn't want to boost his ego further. After Jungkook returned the wheelchair to the hospital, he sat down in the taxi, giving the address to the mansion.

Not too much later and finally tugged in her bed, Yeri puffed her cheeks. "Okay, I know you have to take care of me but seriously? Are you just going to sit here and watch me do... nothing?" Jungkook took a seat on Yeri's comfortable couch and nodded, "Yeah, that's what I'm paid for." Rolling her eyes, Yeri pulled the sheets higher and hid under them.

"We could take this chance and get to know each other more. Like, who was that guy at the mall? Do you have a crush on him? Or does he have a crush on you but you rejected him and now feel guilty?" Jungkook teased. He wanted to know more about Yeri of course, just because he was bored. Not that he cared or anything.

Yeri sat up, frowning as she kicked the sheets off. "You said you would drop this topic. Stop bringing it up. I don't have a crush on Sehun, nor did I reject him. I wouldn't be that stupid to reject him."

"So you actually have a crush on him. Interesting. Does your father know about it?" Jungkook pulled his legs on the couch and chuckled. "Or is it one of those melodrama plots? He is the son of your father's best friend but you can't date because of that. Your life is just too complicated to date and your father wouldn't ever allow you to date him?"

Without noticing the sudden change in Yeri's mood, Jungkook kept babbling and laughing at his own jokes. Yeri, on the other hand, decided to keep quiet and pulled the sheets back up. She hugged the fabric and closed her eyes tightly. "You don't know anything about me, just like everyone..." she whispered to herself, falling asleep from the painkillers the doctor gave her earlier.

The elder finally noticed how quiet the girl got and stood up, walking to her bed. He kneeled down next to her bed and watched how she slept peacefully. He pushed a strand of her hair back that was caught in her eyelashes and sighed. He got back to the couch and sat down, while he was playing a game on his phone, he fell asleep as well.
