Once the car stopped, Jungkook turned to look at Yeri who was nervously chewing on her lower lip. Sighing Jungkook pulled the keys out and got off the driver's seat, walking around the car to open the door so that Yeri could step out as well. "Still nervous?" He asked after the girl got out and leaned against the car, her hands placed against her chest. She nodded slowly, looking anywhere but into Jungkook's eyes.

The elder reached out to hold Yeri's hand, stepping in front of her so that she was between the hard surface of the car and Jungkook's body. She looked up to meet his eyes, suddenly feeling warm inside. "You don't have to go there if you don't feel comfortable. Fuck everyone, you don't owe them shit, Yerim. Why do you even torture yourself with that."

"I know. But I want this. I want to show them that I can be fierce and sexy, too." Jungkook rolled his eyes, turning his back to Yeri, "I seriously don't get it. He doesn't even look at you and yet you still want to do things that are nothing like you just to get noticed by him. He is a douche, everyone knows that. But fine. Whatever floats your boat. Let's go inside. But don't expect me to help you. This is your shit you have to handle so don't drag me into it." Jungkook's words were harsh and it somehow hurt Yeri inside. She never cared what others said why did she feel a sting when he said that?

The two finally made their way up the driveway, the nearer they got to the house, the louder the music got. Funny how nobody in the neighborhood seemed to be annoyed by it, this is the power of money obviously, Jungkook thought. The front yard was a mess, trash and some passed-out guys were lying on the ground. The door to the house opened before Jungkook could ring the bell and surprisingly it was Sehun who opened it.

A wide smile spread on Yeri's lips and she casually waved at him before he invited them inside. Jungkook took a deep breath, annoyed by the loud and drunk people around him already. Why bother with this shit when he could stay in bed and play some Overwatch. Of course, Yeri was not a baby he could put to sleep and just enjoy the rest of the night. She was a young adult who also went to parties and eventually even got drunk.

Oh shit. What is she like when she is drunk? Jungkook's eyes widened in panic and he quickly looked around to see Yeri joining a group of dudes Sehun introduced her to. Jungkook opened his mouth to say something but then he realized that this was Yeri's own decision. She was old enough to make her own moves, followed by the consequences. So he just grabbed a beer and sat down on the couch, ignoring the crowd around him, with a slight pout.

"So, Yeri right? I think I saw you at school once," the boy named Jackson softly pecked the back of Yeri's hand with a breath-taking smile. The girl immediately blushed and tried to hide behind her hair. "So, this is Jackson, Namjoon, and Seungyoon. I will be right back there are new guests." Sehun pressed a red cup with liquor in Yeri's hand before he disappeared in the crowd of people. Yeri looked down at the drink and curiously sniffed on it before taking a small sip which made her grimace at the burning taste in her mouth, downwards her throat.

The group of boys laughed and Seungyoon took the cup in Yeri's hand, replacing it with his own. "Sehun is a pure Soju drinker. Try mine, it's called Somac, it's mellowed with beer so it shouldn't be too hard on you." The girl nodded shyly, not sure if she should just use someone else's cup but since she didn't want to look lame she placed the cup on her lips and took another sip. It still stung in her throat but it was a lot tastier than the one she had before. Jackson bit his lip as he watched Yeri finish the cup in one go and turned his gaze to Namjoon and Seungyoon.

The boys nodded and Namjoon took the empty cup so he could hold Yeri's hand before they dragged her across the dance floor to the kitchen where an enormous number of alcoholic drinks were prepared by other students. "Hey, Mina, can you give me 4 shots of tequila and your phone number?" Jackson leaned against the kitchen table, smiling at the girl who was currently preparing a round of shots for herself and her friends. "Jackson, you know I am not interested in you so just stop." Her eyes caught Yeri who was now talking to Namjoon, so she quickly pulled Jackson closer to herself. "Why are you picking on the girl, don't do something stupid, Jackson."

The boy smirked and put his hands around Mina's waist, "Oh baby, if you are jealous of me hanging out with another girl then you should just tell me. And don't worry, she belongs to Sehun. I wouldn't do anything to her before he didn't." He winked and took the tray with the shots Mina prepared and sneaked out of the kitchen. The boys and Yeri found a nice place to sit and Seungyoon pushed the tray in front of Yeri.

Yeri looked at the tray then back up to meet the boys' eyes. "Uh, am I supposed to drink all of this?" Namjoon chuckled and texted someone underneath the table before he looked at Yeri again. "The more the better! Also, these are not that heavy, Yeri. It's basically just water with some lemon you have to bite into." He winked making Seungyoon and Jackson laugh.

The girl hesitated first, her eyes scanning the crowd to check if Sehun would come back anytime soon but she noticed another familiar face now talking to a girl on the couch, mysteriously close to one other. Yeri furrowed her brows when she realized that Jungkook was talking to Jooe, a smile on his lips as she scooted closer to the boy. Jungkook didn't seem to be bothered by it and it drove Yeri even more furious.

She grabbed the first shot and gulped it down in one go, ignoring the boys around her telling her to bite into the lemon. Instead, Yeri took the second shot. Then the third. She finished all the little glasses on the tray, leaving the boys who were watching her with an open mouth. When her head started spinning and she felt lightheaded, she pushed the empty glasses away and tried to get up. "Wow, easy there baby, you might fall." Seungyoon was quick to catch the girl whose eyes seemed to be glued at someone sitting on the couch. She yanked off the hand that was holding her arm and walked towards the couch, where her babysitter and one of her worst enemies were having a laugh.

"Oh, so you take photos, too? Would you mind taking some photos of me?" Jooe said in a low pitch as she leaned closer to Jungkook, who seemed to be more interested in his drink at the moment. "Mh, sure I will send you the check via email. I only accept paying beforehand." Jooe bit her lip before she moved onto Jungkook's lap with a go, her arms around his neck. She grinned, playing with Jungkook's hair at his neck. "I will pay you whatever you want, you just need to say it." When the boy looked up he wasn't expecting to see Yeri standing next to them, with teary eyes. "Yeri?" He stood up, ignoring Jooe calling him when he dumped her on the couch.

Yeri stormed off, pushing people off on her way to the doorway, her head spinning and the stupid ache wasn't making it any better. "Hey, where are you going?" Sehun grasped the girl by her arm when she finally was at the front yard in the fresh air. She looked at Sehun with wide, reddened eyes. "I'm going home, good night," she murmured as she wanted to leave but Sehun was still gripping onto her arm, pulling her right back against his chest.

With wide eyes, Yeri looked up at Sehun who obviously seemed to be drunker than before, and there was something off with the way he looked down at Yeri. For the first time in her life, Yeri felt disgusted by Sehun. His breath massively smelled like alcohol and there was also a strange scent that Yeri just couldn't figure out. "Let me go, I want to go home." Sehun only grinned and harshly grabbed her. "You are not leaving, baby, the party just started. You love me right? So show me how much you love me, Yeri. Let's go up to my room and-"

Yeri slapped him hard, making Sehun waver back. He held onto his face, with that stupid smirk still on his lips. While Yeri tried to restrain her tears and her anger, she turned on her heel, hugging her own body as she ran into the cold night, tears streaming down her cheeks. And that was the moment she belatedly discerned that she never loved Sehun. She only loved the warmth of loving someone.
