The music continued blasting in the background, a few students watched in shock how Sehun was helped up and carried away with his bleeding nose. He shot Jungkook a deadly glare before he left the party, the other students quick enough to continue with their own doings. So what if Oh Sehun was once again punched down by Jeon Jungkook?

Talking about Jungkook, the boy looked at Yeri who was trying to avoid his intense glare. She looked everywhere but at Jungkook, so the boy sighed and grabbed her wrist, pulling her across the dance floor to the emergency exit that Yeri used moments ago. The heavy door fell shut behind them and Jungkook gently pushed her against the hard surface, his hands each placed next to her head so she was trapped between the door and his body.

"Are you still not going to look at me, Yerm?" he spoke softly, and Yeri felt how her knees became jelly. She took a deep breath before she slowly looked up to meet his eyes. He had a small smile on his lips and looked at her with those eyes, those eyes that will be the death of her. It seemed like a whole universe was captured in those pair of eyes. "Are you perhaps mad at me?" He said again and took a step back so she could breathe.

She only shook her head, tears threatening to fall any second.

It felt like Jungkook's heart was being ripped out but he had to hold back and don't crumble in front of her. Yeri looked at him, taking a step forward before she slung her arms around his torso, closing her eyes as she inhaled his so familiar scent. Jungkook froze on his spot, not expecting this from her after he left without a word and even told her that he wouldn't make it to her graduation. He thought she would throw a tantrum, hit him, curse at him. But her grip around him got tighter and he was quick to respond by wrapping his arms around her body. She lost weight.

"I'm sorry, Yerm," Jungkook said as he caressed her back, nuzzling his head in her hair. He had missed her. Only now he realized how much he was used to being around her that he missed her in the time they were separated. "I should have contacted you, but the new university I applied for needed a lot of paper stuff. I am sorry," He slowly parted from her so he could cup her face, "I really missed you."

Yeri's heart started racing, her cheeks starting to glow and she lowered her eyes, biting onto her lip. "I missed you, too. So, so, so much, Jungkook..." She looked up at him, tiptoeing before she quickly placed a kiss on his lips, leaving the boy in trance. She giggled shortly before she pecked his lips again, embarrassed yet confident. "Y-Yeri, what," Jungkook blinked in confusion as the tip of his ears started to burn.

"Jungkook," Yeri started, grabbing his hands as she looked up at him. "I like you. A lot. And I need you in my life. I was a coward when you confessed to me that night. Maybe I couldn't figure out my own feelings but being away from you showed me that I really, really like you, Jungkook. When you said you will quit work to go to University, it felt like I fell into a black hole. I knew you would have to leave sooner or later, but I never imagined that the truth would crush me that hard." She sniffed, holding tightly onto his hands. "I promised to confess to you but then everything happened so quickly and before I could even blink, you were gone. And the thought of you just letting go of me like that hurt."

The boy raised his hand to place it on her cheek, softly caressing her skin with his thumb. "If you are a coward, then I am an idiot. Why would I confess to you while you were drunk? I should have man up and told you the next day, but instead, I stayed quiet... because I didn't want to lose you, Yerm. The idea of you distancing yourself from me because of my stupid feelings, I couldn't even bear with it. But now, you are here, saying all these things," he laughed, shaking his head, "You don't know how happy I am."

Yeri smiled, closing her eyes at his gentle touch. "I missed you, Jungkook. Thank you for coming. Or else I don't know if I would ever gather my courage to actually find you and confess. Thank you." Jungkook smiled, leaning down to press his lips against hers again. This time their kiss wasn't as short. Yeri grabbed his shirt, as Jungkook deepened the kiss, his hands buried in her long locks.
