C'mon Carla, get here already, I thought as I impatiently waited in my room, for Carla to come pick me up so we can start heading to the first day of Warped Tour. To say that I was thrilled was an understatement. I packed two suitcases both filled with shorts, band shirts, tank tops, under garments, shoes, make-up, straightener, and just about everything in between. I packed so much because Carla and I would be following the bands to each state and to Canada; where Warped Tour went, we'd be right there.

Warped Tour was a pretty big deal for me. I had never been out of my State let alone a concert; pretty pathetic. I was in desperate need for change and growth and maybe, just maybe, my lucky break for my singing career.

For today, I wore a white Chelsea Grin tank top, pastel blue shorts, with my black converse. Finally Carla called, saying she was outside, and I hurried out eagerly.

"Hey Delilah! You ready to go?" Carla asked as I got settled into the car.

"Yes! Now lets go, I can't wait another minute!" I replied happily. She laughed and began driving.

We played the Black Veil Brides cover of 'Rebel Yell' and talked about our goals and hopes during Warped Tour. Carla wanted to meet Ronnie Radke, and I wanted to meet pretty much any and every band member.

I was really grateful that Carla wanted to come to Warped with me, especially that she's paying for basically everything since I don't have a job; she was a waitress at some fancy restaurant and the tips were major, plus her parents helped with the finances also.

Finally, we made it to Orlando, Florida where the next show was. It was cool to be surrounded by people that liked the same or similar music to you, like they were all your musical soul mates.  I stretched a little as I got out of the car, then linked my arm with Carla's and started exploring all that there's to see.

"O-oh m-my gosh," Carla said between heavy breaths, "...Look, just 30 feet away is T.Mills!" Carla screamed. I laughed, and held her supportivly in case she fainted. Eventually she ended up running over to get a picture and told me that she'd meet me back in ten minutes.

I walked around by myself, watched a few bands do some interviews, took a picture with All Time Low and hung around with them for a little bit, just chatting. They were really nice, everyone including the bands seemed really friendly. It was a mellow enviorment for the most part, so far at least. The stench of weed and sweat filled the air sweetly. After about twenty minutes, Carla still wasn't where we'd planned to meet up, so I called her; no answer. Great, on the first freaking day, I lose Carla!, I thought. Finally I spotted Carla by the car, moving out my bags from the car and throwing them onto the concrete. I quickly rushed over in confusion.

"What the hell are you doing with my bags?" I yelled.

"I'm really sorry, Delilah, but I have to leave right now. My older sister is having her baby, a few weeks too early, and I have to be there for it," She replied. I knew that Carla had an older sister,  I also knew that she was pregnant, but I didn't think that she'd burst any minute.

"What? We haven't even been here for an hour! What am I supposed to do then?" I asked. Without Carla and her help, there wasn't any possibilty of me staying the summer for the tour.

"I don't know butI could give you a ride back home since I'm headed back" She offered.

"No, I came all the way out here to live a little, and maybe get my someone big to notice my singing. I don't want to go back, I'll figure something out." I tried to sound confident, but really I had no clue what I would do.

"Okay, if that's what you want to do," She said getting into her car and firing up the engine, "I'll see you later, be safe!" Carla said and then quickly speed off. I grabbed my bags sighing, then walked around sadly. Watching any performances was the last thing on my mind, I needed to figure out what I would do about my current situation. Right now, I only had about eighty dollars and nothing else; I didn't have anywhere to even sleep.
