Chapter 15

Chapter 15-

I lied down and went to sleep to StarClan. I entered the field and saw Bluestar and Tigertail.

“What is wrong?” Bluestar asked.

“I’m bringing Tigertail back to the Lake. I know how to, and I know I can’t live in the Clans without him by my side.”

Bluestar and Tigertail exchanged glances, then Tigertail spoke happily. “Of course I’ll live in the Clans with you. We’ll be together eternally.”

“Eternal… Warriors…” My eyes widened. “Forever protecting the Clans, eternally protecting StarClan. That’s the end of my prophecy. Peace.”

“What do you mean, Zenstar?” Bluestar asked.

“The only thing that will fix the peace is herself, my own actions, but the underlying message is more. She will protect her Clan is secret, I will protect the Clans, here and in StarClan eternally. Forever, with Tigertail at my side and you leading us, Bluestar.”

“I will lead you.”

“I will stand by you.” Tigertail said.

I hugged Tigertail and at my touch, the stars disappeared from Tigertail’s fur. I felt draining on my soul and I knew I had sacrificed my life for the one I loved. We together would protect the Clans.

“We will see you again, Bluestar. This isn’t good-bye.” I said as StarClan faded. I once again heard the echoes of the good-byes of the Nine. Tigertail and I were returning to the Clans once again.

 

I walked down the brambled entrance with Tigertail at my side, the sunrise after we returned to the Clan. Tigertail’s death had been reversed, he had been in a sleep for this long and now awoken. He had returned to my side once again. We together would protect the Clan. Only Snowstar, Speckleleaf, and Flufffoot remembered my secret. None other had trusted it beyond belief.

Tigertail and I now trained Wingpaw and Flakepaw within the Clan. We slept and shared tongues with StarClan every night, mostly Bluestar and Tallfoot.

I could feel something... else waiting in this world. Maybe I would find it when my prophecy was over with Tigertail at my side. 

But, my prophecy was not even close to being over. Even though, I had achieved peace, for now.

Anyway, this story I made actually a long time ago, zenflower coming out of it as my favorite name, but just now it came to fruition. I finally got to write it! Comment, follow, vote, all the things!
