"We're out though!" Brendon whines.

"Of course we are, you drank it all."

"My mouth isn't the only place it went." Brendon wiggles his eyebrow.

"Can you stop?" Ryan rubs his eyes. "That was one time."

"It was a great time." Brendon smiles.

Ryan pushes the cart along further.

"But we need more. They have to cook with it." Brendon pleads.

Ryan sighs. "Fine. Go get more milk."

"Yay!" Brendon cheers and runs off to the dairy section.

Ryan steps into the chip aisle, trying to find some wavy chips for his french onion dip. Brendon comes back and puts the gallon of milk into the cart. Slowly, he walks along the bags of chips, taking quick peeks to Ryan. Ryan notices but pretends not to. He knows exactly what Brendon is going for.

"Brendon."

Brendon freezes, hands on a bag of Pirate's Booty. Brendon has always loved the cheddar puffs and tends to run out often. Ryan, who tries to keep himself and Brendon somewhat healthy, struggles to find a way to keep Brendon away.

"Put away the Pirate's Booty." Ryan grabs a bag of chips and throws them into the cart.

"Why do you get a snack? I want a snack." Brendon frowns.

"You said that last time and you barely ate any of the goldfish."

"They didn't taste good."

"Brendon, you pretended you were a shark and ate them. Then, you felt bad for them so you didn't eat the rest." Ryan leans against the cart.

"Please?" Brendon walks over to Ryan.

"No."

Brendon slides his hands around Ryan's waist and presses his lips to the older boy. Ryan tries to stick to his guns but Brendon knows exactly how to get what he wants when he wants it. Ryan grips the handlebars cart and leans back into it, easing into the kiss. Right as he does, Brendon pulls away but only slightly, their faces still inches apart. He flashes his sweetest smile and his best puppy-dog eyes.

"Can I please get the pirate's booty, Ry?" Brendon mumbles.

Ryan takes a deep breath. "Fine."

Brendon smiles and presses his lips to Ryan's once more before scurrying off to grab his snack. Ryan watches him and shakes his head before pushing the cart along further. Brendon sets the bag down and walks next to Ryan as they scan the aisles up and down.

"We need paper towels." Ryan mumbles.

"Aisle 27." Brendon says simply.

"Did you like...memorize this store?" Ryan starts to head to the aisle.

"I have to remember tons of lyrics, memorizing is my superpower." Brendon shrugs.

"Ryan!" Some squeals as they enter the aisle.

Ryan's eyes light up but darken a moment after. "Hey, Frank." He says casually.

Frank scoops him into a hug. "Brendon, how are you?" He pulls away from Ryan but doesn't make an effort toward Brendon.

Brendon scans Frank. "Could be better."

Franks eyes darken a moment later. "I'm assuming you guys heard."

"We did."

"Heard what?" Brendon frowns. He gains an annoyed look from the guys. "Oh shit! Yeah we heard." Brendon gives a fake pout.
